lol, if you say so
They did. That's why he got binned after 2 series, everyone thought he was a cunt. He made people walk off the show because he kept going too far.

Don't diss thee Oddster. Ever. </3He just extended Mark Lamarr's style IMO, I think he did a brilliant job.....the one time I did think he went too far was with poor Bill Oddie, who was being a bellend for sure, but you could see he was really quite upset and floundering and didn't know how to handle the pisstaking.

Don't start watching The Thick Of It from the episodes that are on the now. Make sure you watch it from the beginning.
Anyone watching the CH4 expose on cruise ships/wage exploitation 8pm-9pm?
Fuck me ... I knew it was bad, but not that bad. Chinese guys got a contract for 10 months out of a year. with NO day off.
The english reporter who's got a job as an assistant waiter got lied to by an agency and told he was getting £640 per month, turns out it's £480 and the agency lied, but he didnt get his contract until the ship had sailed and couldn't check in advance. £640 was piss poor, since he's working 80+ hours a week (and having to do unpaid training in his time off too) ... on £480 per month it works out at something like £1.53per hr ... the rest he's got to get in tips.
and the hours/shifts are fucking brutal ... something like 4hrs on 4hrs off.
[edit]
the people employed from places like Indonesia and China aren't covered by UK law either and get even less, as the shipping firm are based in Liberia, so they can bypass all EU laws.

You ever seen the mighty boosh spade?
It takes a bit of abstract thought to like the Boosh. You don't have to be stoned. I don't get stoned either. Ever.
Julian Barratt is a bit of a comic genious, with kick arse taste in music, and Noel Fielding is equally abstract and surreal and rather godlike. Together they're rather perfect. I like Rich Fulcher too, despite him doing CBB commentary. Snuff Box was rather pleasant.
