The What's Good on TV Thread Vs. S'all Good Man

I agree that The Mighty Boosh is excellent. I did put this down to me being a total stoner though. I can fully understand why someone would hate it. First few times I turned it on I thought it was utter nonsense & put it back off, then my flatmate made me watch the Old Greg episode when we were really stoned, after that I was hooked on it.

Julian Barratt is a bit of a comic genious, with kick arse taste in music, and Noel Fielding is equally abstract and surreal and rather godlike. Together they're rather perfect. I like Rich Fulcher too, despite him doing CBB commentary. Snuff Box was rather pleasant.

Noel Fielding annoys me almost as much as Russel Brand, Julian Barrat was always the funny one in the mighty boosh, was excellent in nathan barley aswell. Snuff box was really good and there should have been more. Comedy on tv is terrible these days, I can't be bothered to watch the thick of it because I'm so disenchanted with idiots cameron, clegg and hague just don't give a fuck about politics anymore.

The Thick of It is still fucking excellent though, I don't see how you could get these confused :p
 
On Sky Arts Blue Wild Angel - JImi Hendrix live @ Isle of White it's on @ 16:00hrs today but i expect it might be on the sky player or summat . i'm recording it on my V box, it will be ace i think

It is all about Charles Manson and the Manson Family.
I've always been intrigued how the man had such a hold over his group of followers that they would commit murder for him.

New Dexter and Fringe were excellent. Can't wait until the next ones. The whole 'being stoned makes it better' thing applies to pretty much anything. Weed intensifies everything, so makes dull or boring things interesting. However, if it's not funny sober, then it's probably not that funny - especially if you find it 'genius' after a spliff. That said, I watch a lot of stuff stoned, and I end up watching some proper shit - and even being amused. A lot of TV probably is aimed at pot head audiences, because they know they'll find it funny - even if no one else does. New South Park tonight, people. Something you don't need a joint for, but I reckon that's one thing that is written under the influence.

I didn't realise it was on tonight, I'll maybe try and catch a repeat. Unfortunately I have to agree with the mooncup fruit loop that it's probably not going to be up to much.

I said the other day I didn't rate Keith Lemon much but I just saw Celebrity Juice there and at some points I was fucking pishing myself throughout.

See, Crackhead? No one else seems to hate Keith Lemon. I also used to find the character an annoying cunt, but then I learnt to accept that Leigh Francis is a funny fucker - I loved Bo' Selecta, at the time. I bet the film is good. There's like 20 celebrities in it.
 
I didn't like Bo Selecta and I don't really want to see the film but I have to admit that there were bits of Celeb Juice that had me in stitches. Wouldn't go out my way to watch it every week.
