I liked Inception a lot. I'll probably try and watch this Paprika some other time when I'm not distracted.

I'm going to turn off the TV and listen to a podcast instead.
 
Just about to start on a new TV series.

Options are, Weeds, Carnivàle, Deadwood ...

anyone have any firm faves?

I've been wanting to watch Carnivàle for ages & despite some religious overtones I've heard it's pretty awesome. 8.7% on IMDB looks promising. Deadwood gets a 9, which is pretty reassuring. I'm into character development and originality more than anything, so advice n opinions on what to make a start on are welcome

Carnivale looks like the kind of thing I'd like Marmz. I only usually watch English t'v programmes. Where do you get this from please. I dont really want to download stuff if its not necessary.

A pretty stunning series that was cancelled way before its time. They were trying to resurrect it until a couple years back - sad it never came off (at least Arrested Development is!).

Finished Lexx a few weeks back. Well worth a watch if you like wacky Sci-fi (watching it had me questioning whether I was sober or not at times). Just started on Louie, Babylon 5, and West-wing.

I dont know the others but Deadwood is one of the best TV shows ever. its HBO and its up there with Sopranos, Wire etc , in my opinion

You started watching season 5 then? Its pretty good how almost instantly after its aired in the US theres HD streams online straight away, only thing annoying me is that I have to wait another week for the next show instead of just watching like the 4 seasons in a few weeks. Theres going to be 8 shows this year then another 8 next year. Probably one of the best tv series ive watched yet though
