The 'What Have You Bought Recently?' Thread - Because Summer Is a Show Off

ahh the walkmans.. brings back some memories

I remember getting my first Walkman and being so impressed with the sound quality at the time. Great invention of the day.
If only I could also rollerskate then I could have done a Cliff Richard 'Wired for sound' impression.

that walkman looks sweet but i feel i have all i need in my years old cowon j3... including the 33h playback time. in a smaller package...

NFC scares me a bit. you never know who might be reading up on them and mapping your every move :sus:

yeah but you see those... i mean you know you can avoid a camera... but these little things can be placed anywhere... (not saying they re the greatest threat....)

NFC tags are passive though, you have to push information onto them, or pull it yourself. They're not powered and not capable of sending or receiving data without your consent.

I have to admit we probably have about 20 bottles of various aftershaves / EDT's on the go - favorite at the moment is

Dior Homme cologne day to day is Zegna Inteso / Lacoste white

Nice. i've got a few here, i need to get some more Jean Paul Gaultier. fave at the mo is Diesel fuel for life

Mini collection as I've only really taken an interest the last couple of weeks so they were all presents save for the purple one. Would be a bit more impressive if they weren't all almost empty ;)

I seem to have bought this last night despite having never smelt it before: http://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/Donna-Karan/DKNY-Golden-Delicious-10914.html. Appparently it's similar to J'adore which is my real favourite (hence the three bottles of it) but is far too expensive for me at the moment so should be good. Only cost me £28 for 50ml anyway.

Here's my entire collection:

Gets me more "you smell lovely" comments from random people than anything else I've ever worn, can be blended with another essential oil if you fancy a change, and if you put just a little too much on then you get a whole cinema to yourself.

Also happens to be a major constituent in all of the decent men's fragrances anyhow, and it also goes in the oil burner. I'd be a fool not to.

I also burn sandalwood pretty constantly. Glad you're on board with the patchouli!

That bath oil looks delicious and is a bargain too. I don't have enough baths. I mean, I have showers obviously, but I should take the time to have a bath more often. Put some candles out for myself, like, take an ashtray and a bottle of grog. What more could a man need?

That stuff may just force my hand.

You own Le Labo's Patchouli 24?!

Or was the image intended to represent generic patchouli oil? The product in the picture is a really smoky, musky, animalistic stink (in a good way)! There's patchouli in there but it's not very noticeable.

Flo - PM coming this evening ;)
