The 'What Have You Bought Recently?' Thread - Because Summer Is a Show Off

Whether it makes logical sense or not, it is the case in all practicality. Check out the AV forums (Audio visual forums) if you dont believe me (and if you're really all that interested). With a cheap cable, you get faint blurry outlines and very annoying shadowing effects. With a decent cable everything is crystal clear and sharply defined. I currently have a pretty shit bottom of the range TV, but i used to have a top of the range 32" Sony before it died on me after about 6 years. The difference in quality just upgrading the cables made really surprised me. I was initially fucking gutted, thinking 'ive got this top of the range tv, but the picture still looks pretty shit to me' but once I'd upgraded the cables the difference was as clear as night and day.

Sorry mate, but you are one of the millions of people who have been conned in to buying expensive digital cables because they don't understand the science behind it.

It's amazing what the eye will see when seeing a difference will make you not feel like you've just wasted a load of money you needn't have.

Obviously durability is a seperate issue.

Well, we know that people's subjective opinion in forums is always correct so that does lend some weight to your argument....

=D

Pretty sure you've had a pop at me before over something I was just enjoying my revenge, I'll let it lie now.=D

You've been conned.

I bought 10 cigarettes (or "tabs" as we call them up here) and a litre of milk from Sainsburys......I know its not as impressive as fancy TV cables but I enjoyed both non the less.......

Oh and also bought a new vaporiser-ecig as the previous 10 I've bought have broke...is it just me or are they shite?

As well as the obvious irony, there's a bit of sentiment behind it too. Plus it looks damn cute under my leather.

Food, beer, stuff for the missus and a lot of drugs!

Just the way I like it!

Pretty much this! Shit load of food and booze, ton of AL-LAD and LSZ, benzos for just in case, a lizard, all sorts.

She is making up for it by buying us an Audi A4. I feel like I should keep the Fiesta because I have a history of either crashing or not being allowed near nice cars

edit: dear law enforcement, i have not bought an actual ton of lsz and al-lad, just in case it becomes illegal before we take it all <3

She doesn't but if you put a wig on then maybe she'd go for it! I would be willing to do a swap for the right price

edit: if she reads this then darling i love you

The Yellow Thing. All my other bikes are either scooters or dirtbikes so not real good for commuting, and saw this for $1500. Only 7 years old too:)
