The 'What Have You Bought Recently?' Thread - Because Summer Is a Show Off

A new grinder, a hoodie, and a laptop off my mate. Living the dream!

I got a space case grinder about 12 years ago, it's going to last forever, it's awesome, cost a lot of money for a grinder but it's the best & I'll never need another.

I bought an expensive metal grinder a year ago after years of using those cheap plastic ones. The "blades" on the metal one are all blunt already, and half the weed just spins around in it rather than getting chopped up :(

my grinder is blunt as fuck. but still grinds up weed nicely.

lasted forever

if its (brand)Sharpstone they generally last until you loose it

Glad I'm not the only person who watches Michael Portillo's Railway Journeys. New series (of the continental kind) starts on the 5th!

Yeeeeeaaahhh!

It's thanks to El Portillo's gentle and informative programmes concerning our 19th century industrial & social heritage that I can finally forgive Thatcher's destruction of Scotland's entire economy & society in the 1980s. :D

The new Madrid kit, have to fend off the birds left and right when I wear this one.

Cheap plastic 'original no.1' pyramid grinders are the way to go imo, never thought metal grinders were any good except a couple of the hash grinders I've seen and hash can fuck up a plastic one pretty bad (although they do work for it, just not for long and need cleaning loads).

Reminds me I need to buy a grinder on Friday. Ours is fucking shit I'd rather tear the stuff up with my nails and I compulsively bite those.

Bought like £30 worth of various sex toys, a crate of booze, and some weed. I imagine they will all go quite well together.

Ha=D

I'm at my mums house, obviously I don't read the grauniad. The Independent and The Sun for me.

Although to be honest I get my news from a lot of different sources. The essay I'm writing at the moment has got a reference or two from the guardian website and the last literature review contained a citation to the guardian website (although I had to discuss the nature of political bias in the media using such a source in the particular context I was writing in then).

I'm part way through buying a second hand bike. bloke in the shop wasn't there today. I also bought some allure perfume. I need a perfume for every day of the week. I have a weekness for perfume. need a new bottle of rive gauche.

Does the small glass bird have some sort of function..?

Nope.

It was expensive because it's handblown in a glassworks in Finland hundreds of years old and designed by a someone called Oiva Toikka who is world famous for his glass birds. My mum collects 20th century glass and it's a 60th birthday present for her.

It's an appreciating item really, they get worth more as you keep them and the type you have becomes rarer.

Angry about the fact they discontinued rive gauche homme. I used to spend loads of money on scents but I had to town it down because I needed to tighten the belt a bit, just got a few. Issay Miyake is a favourite at the moment. I'm a fan of old school Davidoff Cool Water as well which is good because it's cheap as fuck. Bought some lancombe l'Poeme for my mum today as well.
