Doctor X
Bluelighter
I can't believe next week is the halfway point of the season.
I am not looking forward to the hiatus...

^ that's exactly how it should be done and usually is. solid human drama, but still relating more to the crisis at hand. I find McGrunge's points are ringing too true as of late. however, I am going to wait a couple episodes after the halfway break to judge with more vehemence. I think that when they introduce this one character soon, they are really going to get shocked that the whole world out there ain't all fucking/getting pregnant/Dale paternalisticly interjecting/women drama... but that being said, they might not even introduce her this season. they've been hiding it well
it just has the potential to go so well. they need to get to some different landmarks. it's so insane - in the comics the entire TV series till even further than now was covered in like 2-3 issues!
Honestly, they dont have enough characters to kill anyone off. Think about it. They need basically everyone for one reason or another. Shane can't die because he is the antagonist force now, the bad guy. Really the only disposable characters are the main ones, and that makes for quite a paradox...I dunno. It's an interesting show but yeah in retrospect it seems like it was slapped together rather quickly.
While watching the scene where Shane comes back with the guns and starts handing them out, screaming, I remembered T-Dog was actually a character on the show. It had to have been his first appearance in 2-3 episodes. Where does he go exactly? How's he spending his time? Kind of ridiculous.
His character serves no clear purpose. I actually thought he was done during the fish fry attack. Maybe they've got big plans for him, but it seems like he could be killed off with basically no negative impact to the group.
Full Metal Jacket said:Door Gunner: I'm so fuckin' good! I done got me 157 dead gooks killed. Plus 50 water buffalo, too! Them's all confirmed!
Private Joker: Any women or children?
Door Gunner: Sometimes!
Private Joker: How can you shoot women or children?
Door Gunner: Easy! Ya just don't lead 'em so much!
and it looks like one of my favorite female comic book characters of all time is about to be introduced in this black, sword-carrying bad-ass named Michonne. I hope that they introduce this character, and they've hinted that they would in Season 2, with a BANG - just like in the comics:
