There actually are a few very blatant similarities (protaganist waking up unaware in the hospital, walking through the apocalyptic abandoned landscape, being taken in by friendly strangers who fills them in on the situation and teaches them how to survive, searching for a military base/refugee camp) in the first episodes, but to say the entire premise was stolen IS a bit much.

You dont have to be a smartass about it. This thread is titled the Walking Dead so anyone coming in here after the air date of the new episode should either be really careful or avoid it for a day or two until they watch it. Thats how every other movie/television/sporting event thread I've ever participated in has operated. I dont see how spoiler tags are needed for something that happened 5 days ago. Also I can't help that you don't have a better argument for me about what makes a zombie a zombie, you dont have to troll me for it... Just put your effort into coming up with something better than referencing Dante's Inferno in a conversation about modern day zombies and pretending you dont kow what the word "dead" means.

Have fun and stop being so aggressive with your posts. Not even Danny Boyle nor Alex Garland would get as upset as you do with people calling the infected zombies in 28 Days Later. Geesh.

I think its fun to debate with others over subjects in which Im interested...

The basic point though Im trying to make is, be educated about shit you choose to talk about. If you want to talk about Walking Dead and 28 Days Later, please at least, watch them both and have a really good understanding of each before you start making comparisons. You should know whether or not the infected in 28 are zombies or not if you plan to go to the trouble of making a post comparing the two. I'm just asking for basic common sense.

Dude, im not the one who keeps bringing this up. I only respond when someone mentions me directly. And 95land wasnt admitting anything, he was being sarcastic and tossing in insults. This was a conversation between me and him, other people decided to interject themseves into it. It doesnt help when I have a "mod" in here trolling me. The whole thing was completely over until he made his little unprovoked comment. So maybe lighten up on me for a change and focus on the real problem.
 
What is the "real problem"? You're at the center of the conversation, meaning you have the ability to let it go. In post #265 95Land admitted to making a mistake in distinguishing between "zombie" and "infected" but you kept goading him.

I don't have a dog in this fight, but you seem to be very opinionated, so I'm asking you to either please drop it for the sake of pleasant discussion or learn to state your position without the condescension. Thanks.

In case you hadnt noticed this hasnt involved 95 land in 25 posts. I did drop that conversation with him some time ago. Since then I have only been responding to things that others have brought on me. The real problem is that I'm not the instigator here, yet I'm being labeled as such by every fucking dick that passes through here, including you. So I guess I will fuck off. Thanks for all the great moderating here guys. Real nice job.
