most definetly that episode was the shit. i liked how they ended it with that scene in the church reminded me of leonardo da vinci's the last supper to me. hmm can there be a connection to phil's speech about leondardo da vinci n' how that was his real name and they just changed it to "leotardo". that speech he gave cracked me up, sayin they named him after ballet tights
 
I'll echo everyone and say I really enjoyed this last episode.

Tony and Christopher's relationship has been slipping ever since Adriana died. I think this episode just sealed the inevitable. I think Christopher is going to get whacked. Maybe not by Tony but someone. Even if Tony isn't directly involved I foresee him not really standing in the way.

Also, what's wrong with Anthony's girlfriend? Any ideas?

i get the idea that she wants a grown "man" n' aj still acts like a kid.

i get this idea for a few reasons,

one. at dinner when tony makes the joke about the meat packin district aj laughs n' his girl's reaction is like "ughh".

two. at the movie screenin sally boy (baldwin) says "he is still a kid, u need a man" to the asian actress then they show a close up of aj's girl face,

and finally after the screenin when she says she is hungry aj goes "i asked if u wanted popcorn" like they were 13 on a first date. i dont think aj is givin his girl what she needs in terms of being a real man n' someone her son can look up to.

I don't get why the hell aj is wasting time with that ho anyways when he could be out playing the field. Really liked these new episodes, sacks death was done very well and it is building steadily. As long as no homo shit gets thrown in I think we are safe and will have a promising season and finale. I think tony is going to die. Who is going to step up ? Who knows. I doubt AJ. Maybe not even Christopher. We'll see.
 
I know is HBO, but there are so many damn HBO Channells- HBO comedy, HBO Latino, etc, etc... gaha, I just need a channell for those who have direct tv.
 
If Phil is going to get revenge for his brothers death. Then he is supposed to kill Christopher. That would be crazy. Even though Chris and Tony have a lil bad blood right now, Tony would have to go to war with Phils crew, because Christopher is a made guy and Tony cant seem weak.

I bet Paulie does get whacked, because if you remember correctly, he has always had a pretty close friendship with Phil's crew.

Did yall see the previews for the next episode. What body do you think they found. I dunno, but its about to get fucking great.

Notice that no one seems to want to take the "big boss" job, not even Phil... Maybe Phil will work out a deal with Chris to take the job if he takes out Tony. I bet in that attempt he would be killed by Tony and it would be all emotional.

I think Paulie is going to be the first big name to be killed off this season. I always hoped it would be that Russian guy that Paulie and Chris shot in the woods but they could never recover his body. that would have been great.
 
I don't think Tony will die, he will be in mortal danger no doubt but something will intervene. Maybe he'll be 'saved' by the looming RICO indictment, remember those feds chewing out the sheriff last week.
 
yea something goin down wit the feds. what got me thinkin is the feds gettin at tony to get info about terrorism. wasnt those middle eastern dudes at the strip club involved w/ credit card fraud ?

I think you are onto something here. maybe the Feds will come down on Tony and he will be able to bargin his way out by giving up potential terrorists. there has got to be some link there, the terrorist hunting Feds and Tony, especially with what happened in episode 2 of the last seasons.

god damn I love these posts about this show. I love hearing other people's predictions. I have such a hard time waiting for a whole week to see the next episode.

Someone mentioned about Silvio being an informant. I dont think so. I could see Chris dying of an OD though, although now it seems like he is clean again...

I know these last episodes might seem to start off slow, but they are jumping ahead pretty fast on a lot of things, like with Johnny Sack. I think the rest of the episodes will have a snowball effect and it will end with something big.
 
^ perhaps, it seems alot of speculation is about is who would take over as boss if something happens to tony, which i think is inevitable. i dont think they can end it any other way... i cant think of any real life notorious mobster that lived a normal life after being a boss, just doesnt happen. either end up in prison or murdered. also off the top of my head even in movies, i mean in goodfellas u got henry who turned n' became a rat... or sam rostein who lived in casino, but sam was more of a business man.
 
In the 2nd episode of these last episodes, they kept saying being boss is a young man's job. So that made me think Christopher. Carmine says he doesn't want it, but maybe he will come around. not many more younger guys...

I agree - it just makes sense that something will happen to Tony. In a way it seems he is getting weaker. Especially with Bobby beating the crap out of him.

Or maybe it WILL end with Tony being the big boss. But if that is the case I have a feeling it will come with a HUGE price, and probably will not be very fufilling. Everyone on that show just seems miserable now.

I never had HBO in the past and had to wait for the episodes to come out on DVD to watch them, I would go threw the entire season in 1 sitting, have to wait 2 years for the next release.

It is KILLING me to have to wait an entire week in between episodes...

I read on some rumour website that some guy watched a low res version of the final episode and he said what happens in it. Dapurpman, or anyone, PM me if you want to know, I am almost afraid to put it up in case its true. I really hope it isnt....
