Thank you so much, everyone
I'm due at the end of June (obviously at this stage, the due date can change slightly). We're actually considering not finding out the gender; my figuring is that as adults, there are relatively few surprises in life, so it would be nice to not find out.
Four, congratulations on bubby #2!!!! :D Can i ask how you planned for bub without knowing the gender? I realise that there isn't much to plan that's gender specific, but did you just buy gender-neutral clothing for bub before the birth? There is actually loads of things i've seen that a baby boy or girl could wear. We're going into Southern Winter when backhoe (our nickname for bub- long story
) is born, so i'm thinking it's going to be wearing a lot of onesies, singlets, etc.
I haven't thought about things like a nursery or that stuff yet, and probably won't until we've completely settled in the new house. To be honest, my only thought right now is to provide a healthy environment for my growing bub (me hehe) and to just reach each milestone that's been set our by my obstetrician. We've decided to go to a private hospital to have bub; due to a bit of a bumpy first trimester, i wanted to see the same obstetrician throughout my pregnancy. I know that he may not be the one to actually birth the baby, but the hospital i'm going to has amazing midwives as well
It's the actual pregnancy that i'm more concerned about at this stage.
My belly hasn't totally popped yet, but i am looking decidedly a little more pregnant. I can't wait until my abdominal area gets a bit rounder... i'm also glad that i'm not going to be 8 months pregnant in the height of the Southern Summer (dodged that
)
