I had the most horrible experience on Sunday morning, I really thought I was going to die.
I'd had a big night, and about 6am ish took 6 x Nurofen Plus in order to sleep. I didn't split them, and didn't think anything of the dose - I had no idea it would/could be so dangerous. About 7am I woke up struggling to breathe. I was dizzy and lightheaded and my fingers were going numb. I went outside and tried to breathe, it was all I could do to just keep breathing in and out, in and out.
What happened after that was a pure nightmare. Apparently what I had was a panic attack - all I remember was being sure I was going to die, not being able to breathe, my fingers and legs lost all sensation, shaking, my lips went blue. I begged my friends to call an ambulance a couple of hours into it; the fuckers wouldn't. I don't know if I'm glad or not now. I wasn't strong enough to get up and get to a phone. They called a friend who was a nurse instead, who came over and talked me through the attack, which all up lasted approximately 5 hours. It was a good 3 hours before I could get my breathing under control, another 2 hours before feeling returned in my fingers and toes. I couldn't sleep for another 24 hours, as my body was racked with twitches and shakes.
So yes, feeling a little scattered.

Please let this be a warning to anyone who thinks coedine/ibuprofen is a soft drug, harmless... I don't know what it was, whether it was a toxic interaction, or just too many, or if the Panic attack was the main cause of the physical symptoms... but I never want to go through anything like that ever ever again.
