Of course, if we're talking 'Speedball' with a capital S it's coke and smack, or crack and smack, or either one of them with an IVable opiate, but I think use of the word in a more generic sense is valid. We're talking about about the two creating a whole larger than the sum of it's parts, enhancing the pleasurable effects and moderating the less pleasant ones. I mean, speed IV couldn't be confused with coke / crack IV by someone who knew the difference in feel, but they're similar enough to make valid a general discussion of the similarities between speed + opiate and coke + opiate combos. The physical effects are similar enough that warnings to be careful with one apply equally to the other, even if the subjective appreciation is very different.

Pffffft! Of course you liked my explanation best pjkt. It's eminently reasonable and coherent, even if I do say so myself. :lol: :D Makes a pleasant change for me this whole being sensible and lucid on here. Made a spectacular arse of myself more than once on my regular internet haunts. 8o I'm liking it! ;)
 
I actually only read the first sentence hahaha :D However you immediately pointed out the same difference as there is in "God" first "god" so I was with ya at that point.

Anyway, I used to mix lines of valium, adderall, and oxycodone into single lines and blow it. The valium was yellow, blue amphet, and white/blueish oxy - could make some really cool designs / pictures before going to town. :D
 
Yeah I clearly started it. ;)

I will note - most times I've done coke within the last 12 months or so, I've also been on suboxone. It brings a wonderful synergistic high and almost creates an opiate euphoria hours after taking the sub. Very mellow, but still very much cocaine. I liked it. :D
 
Coke with it's sharper edges rounded off isn't it? I used to shoot rocks, 0.3s at a time, sometimes on their own, sometimes in the same syringe as around 0.3 H. Depends how big a hit I wanted or felt I could cope with, always having the option of the H sooner or later depending if it needed smoothing out or I was enjoying let it ride, made no odds really which way I did it if they hit closely within one another.

Dexedrine + Hydromorphone

I have a decent tolerance to Adderall and little to hydromorphone.

I just recently started using hydromorphone regularly about 2 weeks ago after only using a few times in the 2 months prior. I've tend to do 5mg a night and I don't consider that much at all, I would probably go to 9mg (insufflated) max I'd say.

I've today used Adderall (30mg crushed & parachuted -- simple dose for me) with hydromorphone (only ~3mg insufflated) and am fine. Noticeable stimulation and analgesia (I have an injury).

So, since I will be trying Dexedrine soon, I was thinking of 20mg Dexedrine then 6-8mg hydromorphone once I feel the d-amp working.

Could this be problematic? I think it'd be good, considering my tolerance, for starting doses to get used to these together.

Or any precautions/tips to make it smooth and easy?

EDIT: And... If anyone has tried this combination (or Adderall+Hydromorphone), then some reviews would be beneficial as well :) thx

Sounds fine to me, frankly I'd get nice and high on the hydromorphone first, then take the d-amp. I always try to take the more sedating drug first, so you can go "up" more smoothly and more euphorically.
 
I accidentally did one when I took OCs for the first time, had eaten I think 20-25mg Dexedrine) and came across a 40mg OxyContin. We were going to a concert so I wasn't about to pass up the chance to take the OC there. Not experienced enough yet with oxycodone to say yet, though, to what extent the stimulant added to and detracted from the experience.
 
Speedballing is only more dangerous if you take a fatal dose of one or both drugs, but you don't realize it
If you can't handle that much hydromorphone without stimulants, then it becomes a major problem when the stimulant wears off, and suddenly you have respiratory depression

If you follow me...

So, if you can handle those doses of each drug on their own, taking them together will be fine

No inherent danger, just make sure one doesn't mask the other, leading to an OD when it wears off. As always be very careful mixing other CNS depressants (benzos, alcohol etc) with opioids.

I'd do the opposite Alex, stim first then opioid for a smoother comedown but each to their own!
 
The dexedrine is going to last considerably longer than the hydromorphone... meaning you have to redose. Or, your comedown will not be affected by it at all.

Might I suggest a longer acting opiate/opiod for this combination? This can and will only make it safer...

I don't think benzos come into play anywhere with the word speedball personally. Not saying I don't think they make a dope/coke/pharm high better, but it's not a euphoric drug to begin with
