Mmmmm I remember last year it snowed once, a real nice blanket too, and I went out, slightly drunk with my coat and headphones and my whole neighbourhood was beautiful that night :D. So peaceful and soothing.

Don't worry Cloudy, look at it this way: When you come back, your town will be covered in snow still.

haha, that would be really hopeful considering I wont be getting back into NC till the 7th of Jan. Though I'm not to worried about not seeing another large snow considering it isn't even winter yet and the east coast is supposed to have a cold and snow winter due to I believe el nino (?).
 
La Nina is the cold version. I guess I don't spend enough wintertime in the western part of the state then, because I thought it snowed and then was cold enough to let the snow stay for a bit heh.
 
head up to the mountains man! If you ever heading up to the Boone, Blowing rock, etc area, let me know. You don't live to far way, what like an hour and half?
 
if been on a ginger ale kick lately , ive drank a whole 2 liter in the past two day's by myself

it helps sooth my belly and it's delicious at the same time

as far as the snow storm coming goes i just brought in a whole ton of firewood , were getting prepared to be snowed in for the next few days. I'm really looking forward to waking up to a winter wonderland =D
 
It's a gorgeous day where I am - 'bout 76F (24C), mostly blue skies. :) I love SoCal...

Yeah, cannabis seems almost more set/setting sensitive than something like LSD (unless you're a more habitual smoker and have a tolerance). You just have to smoke at opportune times - if you do you can have some really fantastic experiences.


And yes, caffeine=fail IMO as well. At least, caffeine addiction is fail.

Yeah cold is okay in small doses. It's been around -10C here for the last couple days and it looks like it might be hanging around for a while.

-5C with nice dry, light snow are the perfect conditions for snowboarding. Actually those are the perfect conditions for all winter stuff. If it's too warm to snow isn't as dry, light and crisp and if it's too cold you freeze your ass off.
 
Not as much as you think. I'm just across the river from NY state.

Last year was a good year; at it's highest it got to about 2 feet (~60cm). If you go only about 2 hours north of here though they get dumped a lot more than us. Just that little distance is the idfference between thawing and not thawing. We usually get what we call the "January thaw". It warms up for a week or 2 in january, stuff melts, then it gets cold again and snows. February is our main month for snow.
