That is pretty disgusting...I fucking hate cops...I know they're people too, and I'll admit, there is the nice one every once in a short while, but they're just cocksucking bastards for the most part. I had a cop try to tell me my car smelled like weed and pulled me and all my friends out to search the vehicle...no one had any weed, and none had been smoked in my car (by my friends) in a minimum of a month, and I know my cigs covered up the smell of anything that was last smelled in it...at first he didn't say my car smelled like weed, he just asked if he could search and I obliged...When he was searching the car, one of my friends asked why he was doing the search and he said he smelled weed...at this point, I start laughing my ass off as loud as possible pointing at his ass...at this point he ceases the search and says "You can get back in your car now sir." He looked pretty embarrassed and a little peeved...mother fucker gonna pull me over because I'm 20 and drive an '84 olds...his reason for stopping us was someone tossed a cigarette butt out the window :|.

You should really ask for an increase in your diazepam if you keep seizing out...

Im gonna ask for soma i think

this will also be the day you get switched to methadone right??? Its sort of funny, I'm getting my patch refill on the same day, and milking my last one for all it's worth lol... please make sure and let us know how your appointment goes.

Hey everyone! I've read this thread and the last thread V3 PM. I feel for everyone in here.

I'm 23 years old, have been in 2 severe car accidents in last 3 years. I have had horrible back pain in my lower back for quite a while, almost a year. My doctors seem to think its a nerve issue. I was prescribed 4x 30mg oxycodone, 2x 1mg xanax, 4x 600MG gabapentin per day. I went in to the doctor a few months ago, I had smoked bud to help with the pain and was going to ask for an increase in dosage. I got UA and failed for MJ. I was given half my dose of oxy 4x 15mg per day vs 4x 30mg.

I was pissed. Now at my second PM doctor hes got me on my xanax and gabapentin. He said he doesnt prescribe any scheduled meds. (BS) In order to do anything further I need MRI. I just didnt think its worth paying a crapshoot of money for it, told him I'll hold off for now. The gaba seems to be working for my back pain for now. I am trying to get clean off the oxys still (street use). Been slowly doing it. Just wanted to introduce my self.

Oxy isn't a C-I substance, it's a C-II substance...they don't prescribe ANY C-I substances unless you're in a MMJ state and you get a green card...that's the only Rx'able C-I (just so you know)...

Fixed my post, he said any Scheduled medications, meaning anything narcotic, yet he prescribed me xanax. I knew he was full of shit.

feels like someone tied a knot in my spine in the t-5 region...definitely at about an 8 today...one week until I see yet another doctor...hopefully they'll treat me...and hopefully the bud will be out of my system (not asking drug testing question****)...

someone send some numorph, carisoprodol, and diaz, stat lol...

i'm only 19 and i got back and neck pain(and thats on good days).

Idk if my doc don't believe me or thinks im a seeker, but i explained to him its worst when i have to take road trips to class and sit in class for about 6 hours on end.
He gave me Flexeril and 20 tramadol 50mg....

Gee doc thanks for all the relief:(

PS. i don't want to see a new doc, this has been my family doc for 15+ years my grandparents too.. But he's being shady and stingy.

Guess i'll be stuck buying pills for a dollar a mg untill i'm old enough to qualify for chronick pain huh?

Yeah, and most people arent even aware marijuana is a schedule 1 narcotic, right in there w/ a piece of tar thats processed with Dog only knows, diluted & pumped into a vein with a syringe...

more xrays needed as i've a suspected buldging/slipped disc in the thoracic region which has been progressively getting worse over the last week. i've hardly been able to keep the pain to a manageable position resulting in a depressive episode and lost nights of sleep. i've got my scripts refilled today so the valium should help out with the much needed muscle relaxation and sleep. a visit to the chiro for realignment is also on the way, asap.

went to get my meds changed and got told he couldnt treat me and now Im going to have a hellish winter and a 6 month wait to be treated at a different hospital. it was just what i needed to push me over the edge with my mental health I've had enough

I'm so sorry d2p :(. I know exactly how you feel. It's complete horseshit.

That makes me so mad! Why could he not treat you?

That is exactly what I want to know. You were definitely given the impression that this was going to be the point where you were finally going to get some relief. I know how devastating this is for you and I am so so sorry. It's just not fair. With your condition, I cannot imagine refusing you anything that may help your pain. :(

he said i need more support than he can offer so Im going to be treated at a different hospital but there are 6+ months waiting lists. he said methadone was no good for me because there is a ceiling where other drugs wont work for like bt pain and stuff. oh and my gp has gone on 12 month leave so Im having to change surgery too

^ but you could just use more methadone for breakthru pain surely.

You could ask to be put on the cancellation list at the new hospital, someone cancels their appointment and then they offer it to you, thats how I got into my joke of a pain clinic last year.

Hugs.

Methadone isn't a good BT med because of how slowly it kicks in. BT meds are the ones you want to take and feel relief in around 30 minutes (or less if it's of the fentanyl type). Methadone would make for a horrible BT med, especially for those that aren't educated about its effects, as more than likely, someone in a lot of pain, might decide an hour down the road, "I don't feel relief yet, what's one more dose?" In many cases, this wouldn't be such a big deal, but with it's extraordinarily long half-life, the extra dose-dumping could lead to large increases of the drug in the bloodstream over time, leading to eventual overdose. That being said, with it's high potency, it's also not the greatest idea for an "ER" medication either, as many of the medications being used for BT pain will be ineffective (with the exception of things like Opana (MAYBE), Levorphanol, or buccal Fentanyl; which AFAIK, they use none of in the UK because of the costs associated (see, free healthcare ain't all it's cracked up to be).
