You will be better off starting a thread in the other drugs section for advice. Hope you find the answers you need.
GOD, How I wish I could go back to the days when hydrocodone would help my pain. It seems like there is really no going back once on the stronger opioids like fentanyl or oxycodone (I'm talking about doses of 60-75mg every 4 hours of the latter). It's tough. Tolerance is absolutely a bitch.Hey y'all
Been a nasty couple of days, and weathered the storm. I got lucky and my sister gave me a Vicodin 10/325 this morning and my knee & muscles pain is down to a dull roar. It's good to see others coming in, I don't feel like such a noobStill waiting on a re-fil, no word yet. I have my MRI in the morning for the ortho. woot.
My take on cannabis is yes, its a drug, and yes it helps pain and the side effects are few. Much fewer than narcotics. God made weed, I trust him more than big pharma. *off soapbox*
I'm taking a nap![]()
I know what you mean...20mg of hydrocodone used to hold me just fine before my "accident"...now a MS 60 still leaves me sitting in quite a bit of pain...
DO NOT, under any circumstances (unless you've lost control of your bladder/bowels) do surgery right away. Exhaust all other methods of treatments. I've had 11 rounds of noninvasive procedures from epidural injections to facet ryzotomys (look it up), and while they don't work miracles, they've got me up from being bedridden and I can live a semi-normal life. Surgery is the LAST option you take, when all else fails.
In my opinion, at least. Surgery is risky, unproven (not guaranteed to be successful in back injuries like this), and always carries a small risk of paralysis.
Out of lyrica and flexeril now...down to nothing...this is going to be a fun 10 days until I get to go to PM...
