Oh Doomie *Gentle Hugz* no worries! You sound awful, what can I do? *starts singin' & dancin'* "Have yoooou ever met sweet Betsy from Pike? Who crossed a wide riiiiiiver with her brother Ike!" And please y'all...call me Suz, or 'hey you!'.
Merc, thats a good thing, even tho it doesn't seem like it.
oh crap..outta smokes....GADS!

Hang in there d2p...I was fighting the urge to toss down 6,000mg of seroquel, 4,500mg of benadryl, 9,000mg of effexor, 36,000mg of ibuprofen, and 100,000mg of tylenol last night. If taking that much shit didn't expand my stomach to the point of rupturing, it damn sure would have killed me...

Sweet Jumpin Jesus! Sure glad you didn't! That would have been a long slow painful way to hit the Big Sleep.

Probably...perhaps the seroquel would have put me under while the damage was done...

shame theres no like super pac like groups for chronic pain patients out there. 600,000,000$ to allow us to prescribe ourselves what we need.

you know how the american politics system is completely bought because it allows large amounts of investors to pool their money and lobby congress into doing what they want ( thats my jist of it, im english so I dont know that much) But CPP really need to stand up (if they can) and start to make some noise because halve of what I read on here is bordering on more than inhumane.

I think both countries need something done about the problem for cpp because it is just ridiculous no one deserves to be put through even more hurt trying to get treated as we have enough problems as it is.

Don't feel bad, the U.S. has all our doctors in the insurance co. & big pharmas pocket. They have created a game where the rules are constantly changing and the patients cannot win, unless your a celebrity, then you can write your own scripts. We are the only country that creates drug addicts and then make criminals out of them. fuckin sucks donkey balls,y'all.

cmon please just a couple hundred mg rectal morphine and a couple oxy's and I'd be fine arghhh

I've never even shot anything, but the past couple days I've been wanting a shot of 30-45mg of MS...

I can't get an appointment any sooner you can't just ring you have to be reffered by your gp and then you get a letter through with appointment for the soonest available date. Im being seen at a private hospital if i was waiting for an nhs app it'd be 6 months before id be seen. My head is thrashed Im getting hallucinations again and suicidal ideation , wanting to self harm again and flash backs, nightmares and panic attacks it is horrible. Hope you are well today.

Wyld orchid I've not forgot about you, my phone crashed last night.

I'm so sorry. I wish there were something I could do to make you better:(
And as far as pain management habits, I'm starting to think it's worse in your neck of the woods! It seems like it's very difficult to be seen in a halfway timely manner. I have also noticed lately that there seem to be many medications available in the US that you all don't have access to.
I can't think of any off the top of my head, but I believe JKTM (?forgive me if I am mistaken) asked you about a few different meds, and they are non existent there.
Just out of curiosity D2P, can you think of examples of some opioids/opiates that you hear about being prescribed commonly in the states that are unavailable to you?
One thing I think sucks is the fact that there is only one type of fentanyl Transdermal System available where you are...isn't that right? I wonder how many people have found themselves in the same position you were in with that. I mean, if I could not use the kind with the gel reservoir I wouldn't be able to use it at all! Also, if I remember correctly you all don't have actiq or any other forms of Fentanyl.
I don't know, the more I think about it the more I am starting to think that the US actually has it pretty good....in SOME aspects and situations regarding pain medicines.
Does anybody have knowledge that they'd like to share about pain management laws/guidelines in different parts of the world??
D2P, Remember to feel free to PM whenever you feel like venting.

My wish list:
1. 60 MS-Contin 100mg/month
2. 90 Oxycodone IR 30mg/month
3. 240 Xanax 2mg/month
4. 30 ProSom 2mg/month
5. 90 Desoxyn 5mg/month
6. 90 Lidoderm 5% patches/month

What's sad is I would probably remain sober even on all that...

We can't get hydromorphone, oxymorphone or the other types of fentanyl due to the govt deeming them too costly i had to fight to get oxcontin . It is the same with cancer meds too people have died because the govt have said no to what they need it is fucking ridiculous.

8o omg...I'd be dead.

WOW. So it's not only an issue that revolves around opioids, huh?
What about immediate release oxycodone? I don't mean w/ APAP, I mean like 30 milligram pills. On the flip side, can you think of anything that you guys have access to that we in the states do not? At this point I can't imagine...

I get 10mg ir oxy at the minute. We have diamorphine but that is reserved to end stage cancer patients.
