Gotta love NMDA-antagonism...

And actually they're investigating ketamine for MDD (in small doses though) in patients with treatment resistant symptoms including those with painful conditions like RSD/CRPS...

*takes a deep breath* OK here goes!
Was a pretty good day, muscle pain was around a 6 and no spasms, so I took a small walk on the beach. Didn't make it to far before my knee started screaming, so hobbled back to the homestead for ice and a Vic. Smoked to many cigs today tho....filthy habit. My mood is up for a change, must be the full moon.=D

Mines on the up as I know a big bag of shrooms is headed my way...it will probably be the last time I get to do them, and I haven't gotten to do them since I was 17...it's actually right at 3 years ago that I last did them lol...they's one of my favorite rec drugs...I didn't start doing painkillers or benzos really until I felt the medical need for them...always preferred the trippy shit...used to be a time I considered myself a psychonaut...

*sorry for going off topic there*

Heehee!Jktm, (nice to meet you!) you just took me back about 20 years, shrooms....good times. Not to pry, but, your having testicular pain? Is it injury related or just showed up? I have a little background in this area...my husband just went through some testicular issues.

Came out of nowhere...I also have low testosterone and ED as well though...

You look so young! Is there sweling or just pain? Sounds like you may need a push of hormones. Once upon a time, I was pre-med, and then life showed up.

About 3 weeks ago the urologist gave me a 400mg testosterone IM deposit (the largest dose they'll push)...it used to be there was swelling, but when the vericocele would get really bad (inflammation of a vein so bad that it was visible and palpable) it started having the opposite effect...

And I turn 21 in November lol...

Ohhhhhh, that sucks. My husband just had surgery a couple months back for a massive hydrocele, really awful. You have my deepest sympathy, ball trouble is no picnic. I'm sure they have already done a blood work-up on you, did that give them any hints to the cause?
I was supposed to have some hormone replacement, but it got nixed due to a previous deep vein thrombosis. So I get to shave my mustache as well as my legs. 8o =D

bummer on that lol...

and no, ball problems are no picnic lol...and I've actually only seen the urologist once and follow up tuesday to get the results of the labs they took...lol...

.it used to be there was swelling, but when the vericocele would get really bad (inflammation of a vein so bad that it was visible and palpable) it started having the opposite effect...

i get the same kind of pains in my right testicle. my pelvic/pubic bones is a little out of whack (i think it's narrowing of the pubic bone, can't quite remember the docs words off the top of my head) so when nerves are being pinched, blood flow is also obstructed resulting in the testicular pain and swelling. it causes absolute agony at times - so much so i am considering having my right testicle removed.

Bless your heart! Hopefully, something will show up in the bloodwork and it will be a simple fix. Have you had CP for a long time? And thank you for talking to me and not telling the noob to GTFO.:)

no problem lol...I started having chronic pain shortly after my 18th birthday, so it's almost been 3 years...I had chronic pain before that, but it wasn't super severe, so I didn't pay attention to it...

@tentram I wonder if that's the cause of my problems...since I've been on the cane my pelvis has gotten so out of wack that my left foot goes straight when I walk and my right foot makes an 85 degree angle with the other one...

give me a couple more years on the cane and my leg will drag behind me like my nam-vet history teachers does...he got shot though lol...

Geez! Your the same age as my youngest son, to young for these kinds of problems. And yes, it could be the cause of your problems, shifting your natural gait to compensate for the pain your having to a more comfortable walk can shift the pelvis around, and get you all out of whack.
Dear Tentram (Howdy do!) An orchidectomy? omg...have you considered maybe a re-alinement from a chiropractor on your pelvis,or have you already tried that?

Meh...what's there to do? lol...

Currently waiting to get into pain management and have no Rx for anything other than Ibuprofen 800s and Dexilant 60s lol...

So there's no way in hell I can try to do PT, let alone exercise lol...

PT is useless,IMO, only in certin cases is it useful, to me it only aggrivates the problem. In a perfect world, correct what is causing the problem, but from the sound of it, that might not be possible. Your pelvis can shift very easily and get out of alignment, causing all sorts of havoc. Maybe one day you could tell me the root of the problem, if you feel like it. Pain management...grrrrr. I've never been, I wanted to, but it didn't happen(long story) I've heard some real horror stories about it tho...
I've never heard of Dexilant....Google here I come! Oh! Its for GERD. I can't ibuprofen at all,I'm allergic.

It's just a proton pump inhibitor like Nexium, Protonix, and Prilosec for heartburn...It kicks the shit out of all of them though...lol

I'll have to remember that one, my husband is forever having stomach issues of that sort, while I on the other hand have the constitution of a goat. I can eat nails covered in hot sauce, and never blink an eye, buut all my other shit is broken. Go figure...

I've had GERD since I was 7 lol...my doc told me I needed to quit taking the Ibuprofen, but the bitch should have thought about that before she ripped me off the BuTrans if it's that big of a deal to her...I already quit taking ASA because she asked me too...at least I take the 800s instead of 4 of the 200s...easier on one's stomach...

GERD since 7? wow. When you eat bread, especially white bread, do you get sick at your stomach? Could be a wheat allergy, or nerves. Doctors never cease to amaze me in that they will give you the keys to the kingdom to begin with and then when you get all comfy and happy, you get thrown to the wolves. Our health care system is so broken. I had to beg and plead this past week for my GP to give me a few Hydrocodone 5 until they can get me to an ortho for my knee, and those just barely take the edge off.
