Interested to see How the hell theyre gunna guard (try to gueard) Dwight Howard.....I mean nobody else in the nba knows how to, but i guess Detroit must know right??? haha Get Pwnd Detroit....

12 and 8 is pretty gangsta ;)

from central florida by chance?

Ya know what I imagine the toughest thing to swallow would be? The fact that we made the biggest gains against the Magic with our bench on the court. We'll just rest our starters for the winner of the Cleveland/Boston series =D

not too tough its a seven game series and only one game has passed, nice to see detroit employing the "hack a howard" defense knowing that no one on the court can guard him, i knew detroit played dirty.....but trying to break the all star players thumb on my team?? sucks when a team knows they are outclassed at center and just hacks away instead of knuckleing up and playing defense.....anyways like i said detroit is expected to win on their home court and the series doesnt start until the home team has lost a game, if i can quote the great pat riley

Hack-a-Howard? Hardly. He had 7 trips to the line. We play rough basketball. NOT dirty basketball. Get used to it, or go play basketball with the nuns at Our Lady of the Poor.

well fuck. now that its 2nd round... det is handlin orl... as said above ^ i hope NO/SA series goes 7 n' LA sweeps utah :D gonna be some good games.. woooot

Dwight Howard? You mean the Dwight Howard who's averaging 22.6 in the post-season? If that's your big gun, your big game changer; if that's what you are staking your entire hope of beating Detroit on, I think I might laugh.

Dwight Howard is every bit as good a player as Kevin Garnett.

If you want to criticize the Magic, understood - they're a good-yet-flawed team - but imo, Howard is among the best players in the league and is only getting better.

He just hasn't had ten seasons in the league yet in which to demonstrate that for whatever reason, his teams keep losing [or taken to Game Seven by a 22-seed] in Round One).

Kobe, Howard and my three nieces could win the East.

fin.

Yea, and if they had any player resembling a Kobe Bryant, I'd probably be shitting my pants. And if Boston only had KG, I wouldn't even be a little worried about them. But Boston has more than KG, and the Magic doesn't have anyone to support Howard. They have Turokuglo and a couple players that weren't good enough to stay on Detroit's bench.

Orlando is damn good this season but they are very reliant on their three point shooting. if you take that away, and the defensive bad boys of Detroit more than any team can - then the Magic are shockingly average.

well its all good hate on a young orlando team and their superstar all you want game two tonight......i never claimed that they were headed for the championships, i still think they are one piece away from finishing that puzzle, but if you think that this is going to be easy for detroit you are sadly mistaken....ive said it before ill say it again the series doesnt start until the home team loses a game..3rd quarter magic showing some heart lets do this......OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO DWIGHT HOWARD DUNX ON EVERYONE!!!! DAMN!!!!!!!!! Highlight of the game 2xs!! By the way that 3 pointer at the buzzer at the end of the third should not have counted but i guess orlando has to live with that. Damn detroits running out of people to foul on D12. 1 point game about a minute left, no matter who wins you have to say this has been a hell of a game. Some exceptionally bad officiating cost us this game, no worries on to orlando, where i will be at the game (lower bowl)

All this LeBron praise, utterly utterly ridiculous. The man placed 4th in the
little sister conference. He's done absolutely jack to earn "King" status. As much
as I want KG to get his due taste, I wouldn't mind seeing Bronbron get dusted
once more at the hands of King Kobias and Pau Pau.

And savor the NBA's Fourth Best Young (Healthy) Player for two more seasons (plus 4 or 5 games against Boston this month).

At least you'll always have the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame.

I am from Cleveland, I live in Boston now, but I'm from there. and I just have to point out how GREAT it makes me feel that cities that are no doubt "better" cities (like Washington and LA) are now noticing Cleveland and better yet - hating on us!

presumably you are from California, a great state to live in. yet you can't get the Cavs or this LeBron fellow out of your head. Washington, now eliminated three years in a row in the playoffs, now despises Cleveland. as a Cavs fan this is just something I am not used to - all this attention and hate - and I am loving every minute of it.

I really only follow Cleveland sports in through basketball (I am a die-hard Pittsburgh sports fan), but I have to say, along with any Ohio team (Ohio State) Ohio fans are the most tried and true fans out there.

I have been around this board and posting threads about sports long before the powers that be granted us this little forum. I have noticed that you are a rather fair-weathered fan. during football season you praise all that is the Colts throughout the year and absolutely trash other pro football teams - but where are you when the cookie crumbles and Peyton Manning does what he does best and chokes? nowhere to be found. you sound off, never to be seen again until the next NFL pre-season. you were hardly around when the Lakers faded into obscurity post-Shaq; and as a Lakers fan you know that Kobe simply cannot win a championship with another star. well, you got Pau Gasol and now you're back at it again. or at least until Rome burns once again and you will simply pack up your bags and leave.

I wish it were that simple for me. you can call me bias but you can not call me fair-weather. if the Cavs lose this season against Boston, which they most certainly can, you will see me wax poetic all over this board how they could have won and what went wrong. for sports fans like myself, it just isn't easy enough to skip town and forget it all.

I suppose it is the West Coast in you - it is a rather common character flaw for sports fans of that region. must be all that smog and bikinis =D fans from the Mid-west and East are a different breed. huntmich is a perfect example. every year we duke it out over the Michigan/Ohio State game, usually placing some sort of avatar bet, and every year the winner gloats but even more importantly, the loser sticks around with bits of bone protruding from the fingers and blood flecking the keyboard.

it simply is just in our nature, and we wish we could be more like you.

with that being said - I find myself behind enemy lines this week in Boston. almost time to put on the number 23 jersey and hit the sports bar.

Cleveland is the city that I come from so run run!

Bwahahahaha...you think LL lives out here? I guess his Kobe fandom has convinced you...but in reality that can't be further from the truth. ;)

LL has been here through the dark Laker years promoting Kobe's skills on this board longer than I have...funny enough he's not even a Laker fan...he's a Kobe fan. I relate to him on that, not being a Lakers fan, but a Kobe fan as well.

Sorry to tell you this Axl, but once LeBron leaves Cleveland for either the Knicks or the Nets, I think the Cavs won't be around much longer in Cleveland. Just a gut feeling I have. If LeBron can't save that franchise...no one else will.

i totally agree, when you are from the area and you grew up watching the games you BLEED that teams colors, as much as everyone hates on me for loving the magic, i will love the magic until the day i die, whether they are good or bad. After Shaq left us high and dry, i was still a magic fan. When we had the garbage that is Tracy Mcgrady and Grant Hill, i was a magic fan. When they left and we had no one I WAS STILL A FAN. I can truly appreciate ANY fan that can stick through the bad times, even when your friends ask you what your teams are and you sheepishly admit to liking a losing team. Ill admit it FREELY right here I am also a DIE hard Miami Dolphins fan.......gasp go ahead and laugh it up bluelighters :) at least i dont jump on the winning teams bandwagons.....

All too often it seems like it's me hearing the click of my bone on keyboard as I watch that red fucking O on my screen :D

Oh and Liquid, I'm not hating on you because you're a magic fan. I'm hating on you cause your team is playing my team. All is fair in love and sports.:p

its all good, bro im just happy as a clam theyve made it out of the first round, something that hasnt happend since the shaq/penny era, i have been a fan of the magic since there very 1st game! I remember it like it was yesterday,so not many people can claim to have been fans since a teams inception................we'll see what happens in orlando where they SHOULD hold down home court and make a series of it, at 170 bux each seat x 2 they better frickin win....

weird game in boston, james chokes, and allen is scoreless. i find the latter to trip me out more =/

I was trying to call the last play and was like, they're definitely not gonna give it to Lebron. Brons gonna draw the d like always and pass to either wally in the corner for a 3 or big z for a mid range 2 to tie it, then I see Lebron driving to the rim and I shake my head.

He was sucking the entire game, why give him the game deciding basket?

Well there goes detroits "handling" of orlando, and now no Chauncey Billups mabey for the rest of the series? Now, mabey Detroit got something to sweat about. :) By the way being at that game was awesome lower bowl section 112 row H :) The Orena was a-rockin!!! What a blast :) Im typing this up on my cellphone on the ride back fromt he game im so excited :) Would be awesome to see orlando tie this series up :) Oh yeah Dwight Howard (D12) 20 Pts. 6 Blocks 12 Rebounds how can u say that guy is not a monster, and at 22?? Holy crap, Rashard Lewis five 3 pointers HELLUVA GAME!!!
