4-HO-MiPT, just giggles
Eeek! LOL that's interesting how you say 2C-I! For me personally, that was the most awful experience I have had, and that was on both occasions that I have tried it... I've posted about it several times on Bluelight...
It was FAR from gentle (for me)... I found it be to be quite 'violent'... in that the entire trip was very strange... had an element of uncertainty... the visuals themselves were absolutely mindblowing... the most intense hallucinations (eg: calendar on toilet door seemed to be 'floating' and moved clockwise whilst the toilet door moved anticlockwise)... but all this was accompanied with an excruciating headache (tight band around the head feeling)... nausea and vomiting... and you know when you kinda tilt your head/squint/frown when you're really confused/unsure... I felt like I was doing that the entire time...
Well, that's kind of a silly thing to say, those trip reports obviously aren't representative of the totality of collective experience with 2C-I. People are going to be much more inclined to write a TR if they had a difficult or challenging trip than if it was relatively uneventful. Also, I think that writing TRs is something that less experienced trippers tend to do (I took some 2C-B last weekend. I didn't write a TR because I've done lots of 2C-B before, and so have lots of other people, and my experience frankly isn't all that interesting), and less experienced trippers are disproportionately likely to find themselves overwhelmed. Your numerical claim is also just dead wrong, there 436 reports on 2C-I in total, so even if your logic was valid, we'd be talking more like 1/8 people having a tough time, rather than 2/5. Still, in order to illustrate just why your reasoning is flawed: there are 436 reports, of which 152 are first times. Therefore, 1/3 of doses of 2C-I are taken by people who have never taken it before. See what I mean?As of this posting, erowid has around 138 reports for 2c-i and 56 are 'difficult trips' meaning that 40% of people considered 2c-i a 'difficult experience.' More importantly, 13 are classified as 'train wrecks' making that 9% of the total pool. That doesn't seem gentle to me and I would feel horrible guilt for suggesting it to anyone.
Also Erowid does not by any means except all submitted reports. I would say low dose 4-HO-MET, quick and simple, especially at low doses. Oh and its super purdy. I would say mescaline but I find it can wack you on the head when it wants to show its bite though its pretty rare with doses under 400mgs. 4-HO-MET however, quick and to the point with high visual activity and fairly minimal mental change. Perfect for a first timer or someone who wants something more on the gentle side.See what I mean?
