1, Tim Hawkinson;s BIRD 1997 (and tell what it is made of ) I saw it at th whitney blew my mind

Henri Michaux (poet ) drew on mescaline and paineted cool black inblots dancing on pages like people i love em more.

absolutely stunning work. i just saw Chuck Close's exhibition at the SanFrancisco MOMA.

i cant believe Alex Grey's name hasnt come up yet...

alex grey has always appeared a bit too cheesy and pretentious to me; my subjective opinion of course...

is it just me or does the "national health girl" resemble slm a bit?

IMO (of course), all the psychedelic/visionary art is pretty weak. I'd love to visit the sacred mirrors, or see an installation, for the experience, but I'd never want a print on my wall.
