Whole wheat toast with a little olive oil and balsamic vinegar drizzled on top, and some eggplant/garlic veggie spread.

For dessert, a cup of very thick and rich coconut milk, stirred with a teaspoon of honey and some raw cacao nibs.

Aaand to top it all off, a few handfuls of cashews.

hehe

much more then food, but exorcise, breathing, sleeping, general good habits and little routines, exorcise and stretching, possible allergies, climate needs, shampoo and soap, yots and yots...these are not at all intrusive, and, we each probably do a majority of the stuff anyways, because this is what helps define our taste in foods, or health quirks, environmental 'shoulds' and ' should nots'.

youll see;-)who ever decides to take a peek will - there are countless books on the subject, this stuff, Ghee for instance, lol, is one of the first words ever written. i mean to say that there has been lots of study and the subject...most of what will be suggested we probably do already, or is mentioned else where, with no mention of Ayurveda or Eastern Medicinal practice, but presented as the authors common knowledge.

i could make a thread, but, would be a fool to try.
It sounds interesting. :) Make a thread if you want, though I don't know how many people would take fo' cereal. 8) Still waitin' for them to e-mail me the results of the test. Got the e-mail. It's pretty accurate for describing me, but I don't have the money to go find those supplements/herbs, if I could even find them around here, if I even desired to take supplements (which I don't). :P It also said I'm probably prone to ulcers and GI upset... That couldn't be more wrong--My GI tract is excellent and the only time I have issues is when I eat highly processed, Standard American Diet, food.

Last had a potato with two cloves of garlic, done in the wok, so I also have bits and pieces of numerous other meals. Ahaha, most of you are probably all "eeewwww," but it's all plant matter--No animal products have ever been, nor will ever be, done in the wok. :)

oh fine;-)

thats where people seem to get stuck, is the herbs and stuff - i ignore that now for the most part, and like this because i cant afford much of anything at all, or get there to get it. so what i do buy, i want to be what is best for me, simply.

well, you know your Dosha type now, and the herbs and stuff is only a fraction of the practice.

an example of what i found to be true, and follow now is how i should avoid foods difficult to digest, like raw veggies and most dry nuts, dried fruit as well. my body wont digest them properly, not allowing the nutrients to be absorbed. steamed veggies are whats recommended, or soft fruits and veggies - baked Apples rather then raw.

for another of the three Dosha types, raw veggies and a variety of dry nuts is recommended. not weird food, just food.

or for some sesame oil is far better then olive oil for instance.

hehe, anyway:-/ im sure other people are reading, and hopefully dont just take my word for it.!

... the Buddhist are known for their wise-ways!
and IME, studying food and various diet plans through out my life,
the Buddhist spared no insight here, and use the same logic compiling a diet plan, and specifics to incorporate into ones routine, as they do everything else, all the time, everywhere...

^ Hrm. Guess I'll have to look into it more when I have some free time. The thing that turned me off from it from the get-go was how limiting that survey was. I didn't have issues the way they pegged them. Like the one, it asked how tall you are. I'm short. Their canned response was "too short." I'm not too short--I'm short. That's it. There's no negative connotation in my mind with how tall I am.

Yes, I'm splitting hairs, but yeah. That's just one example. :P

You still haven't posted what you last had to eat or drink, pip. :P

um, what i mentioned above, 2 bananas, and two dollar burgers, the past three days.

i need my money and a store next-door. FFS

if God-Food didnt exist, i dont think i would either.
this has been the routine for well over a year...

^ Don't recall you mentioning that you ate that, sorry. Sounds halfway decent, though I have no idea what a dollar burger is. Unless you're talking about McDonald's or something. Yuck.

We all need money and a store next door. :P

If food didn't exist, none of us would. ;)

Natural Peanut Butter smeared on some wholemeal granary loaf I made myself. The peanut butter is just that - peanuts and nothing else. It's much more enjoyable than any typical brand peanut butter with sugar, salt and some kind of oil added to it. I often just sit here crying, writing poetry with a spoon and contemplate life with my kg tub of peanut butter.

Just ate 2 pretty large paper lantern chillies. I am now ready to destroy anything in my path. I feel pretty tired and groggy today for a few reasons, so wanted to blow my head off a bit. Great for perking me up at a cool 450,000 SHU.

FFFUUUCCCKKK dunno why this is so hot today. I smoked a lot of tobacco last night, which i've noticed seems to enhance my tongue's sensitivity. I just can't handle spicy things after smoking alot.

Two potatoes cooked in the wok with two cloves of garlic and half a hot pepper. Mmm.

...Just made the strangest stir-fry ever. It's basically reheated leftovers, but it's weird. Yellow squash, chickpeas, Swiss chard, beets, carrots, and unintentionally some of that hot pepper from breakfast. :P The buckwheat destined for the 'fry never made it in and got eaten during preparation. As did most of the beets. Oops!
