Heroin has made a strong comeback here in Southern AZ past 3-4 weeks its all tar but there is some good quality out there been paying $50-60 a G $80 a T. I never liked fetty and the tire/salt beans were poisoning me so the switch back to H has been a "positive" significantly more functional, clearer minded, more energy. I can get through the day off 2 shots with Tucson a competitive market financially H habit does cost more but not by much

An industrial chemical used in plastic products has been cropping up in illegal drugs from California to Maine, a sudden and puzzling shift in the drug supply that has alarmed health researchers.

Its name is bis(2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidyl) sebacate, commonly abbreviated as BTMPS. The chemical is used in plastic for protection against ultraviolet rays, as well as for other commercial uses.

In an analysis released Monday, researchers from UCLA, the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and other academic institutions and harm reduction groups collected and tested more than 170 samples of drugs that had been sold as fentanyl in Los Angeles and Philadelphia this summer. They found roughly a quarter of the drugs contained BTMPS.

Researchers called it the most sudden change in the U.S. illegal drug supply in recent history, based on chemical prevalence. They found that BTMPS sometimes dramatically exceeded the amount of fentanyl in drug samples and, in some cases, had made up more than a third of the drug sample.

It was also a growing presence in fentanyl over the summer: In June, none of the L.A. fentanyl samples tested by the team contained BTMPS, the analysis found. By August, it was detected in 41% of them.

“This is effectively unprecedented,” said Morgan Godvin, one of the authors of the study and project director for Drug Checking Los Angeles, a UCLA project that works in partnership with the L.A. County Department of Public Health to analyze illicit drugs.

I'll say the only thing that anyone should be talking about The Gooberment...you can take every last negative piece of the entire drug issue, and in my opinion( probably cuz I'm a junkie, have been since 95) and wrap it nice, stick a bow on top, and put it in the Feds lap. No prohibition, no fent, and it just keeps it going from there. In Kentucky, a law was just passed that 12( maybe just 8) grams of ANY POWDERED opiate can get you a life sentence. You know what was used to scare people into passing this? The absolutely false narrative of first responders o.ding from getting fent on them from working w/ addicts. Now we all know this is not a thing, yes? We all know there is not a m.d. worth his salt that will cosign that b.s.? Well apparently not. The problem that has been discussed in this thread would not be if we had rational drug laws...but we don't. I'm in Baltimore...we always had shit dope, but what is happening now? We have to find a way to get the ear of SOMONE who has clout! Ima stop cuz I'm tired& want to go to sleep. But if you want to help me find a way to get some TRUTH in the world's ear D.M. me. I see now that this was probably not the best place to put my very serious thoughts on the opiate crazy(most emphatically not the opiate crisis that 90%+people think of when the thing is mentioned). I saw a video of a woman hitting in her forehead while using a car windows as a mirror. It wasn't the action, it was the fact that at least 45%of the tissue from brow to hairline was necrotic. I'm 50 years old&have been a junkie for every last minute of my adult life&have never seen things that have been quite the normal(?)way of things in the dopeworld for a solid 3 years or so. I know that alot of us are in this position are here cause it hurts so bad&is so confusing that we would rather sleep and be numb&yall know like I know it is not because of any type of weakness...its cause we like to help but when you are like this&you don't know how, and, you don't have many tangible resources&on&on. I don't really know how to(obviously it's more than that but I'm trying to be brief)use the site...the machine...the none of it. Will someone who does, please...please, put this&my last time I wrote something(2 things up)where it belongs; where someone that wants to try to do something will see it? I was reading the stuff thats in mdma trial folks are talking, there are fukin real scientists, psychologists, people MUCH younger...MUCH smarter than me, that I feel has the clout, AND, the heart to try and talk some sense into the folks that, I don't think, know just how fuking bad it is out here&maybe will help change things. Ill tell you what, seeing that article just a few posts up the other day.... made my mind for me.
Ive been on the M30s since.... i cant even remember anymore.
Ive been needing a change somehow someway, and this 'drought' so far has been it.
Always told myself when i started messing with opiates at 17 that limitations would apply....
Then came fentanyl..... (I used to cut up and eat the patches while snorting Opana ERs).....
but not that Fent.....
Then came the blues that we all knew were BS.... but we (I) lied to myself for as long as I could.
I found out about friend after friend passing away a few years back when it all started. And it took me so long to open my eyes to how they really died.

Im tired of feeling like im on deaths door.... All. Day. Long.
So I decided to make the jump to Black Tar Heroin....
Smoked off foil.... about .3 g a day.... maybe a little more/ less

From anywhere between 3 and 10 + blues a day.... snorted.
I havent had a single one in over a week.
Just smoking weed and the H.
I do not get high. (a little buzz from the pot)
But its keeping me able to work, function 75% normally (as compared to not moving, working, eating, or even getting up out of bed after about 12hrs with no blues) . and very very little, if any.... withdrawals

My plan is to ride this down and take as many steps down as I can.
But Im wondering what the next step down really may be......
Its taken me this long to be willing to try the BTH route.... But i believe its paying off....
whats the next step down the ladder??? Is there anything remotely viable as an option besides Methadone? (which I have and continue to consider)

Anyone done something similar? Did it work for you?
I say if your smart and want to get out alive.... maybe something to consider if its a possibility for you....... Nitazines are coming.... xylazine.... FUUUCK THAT
Its helped me so much. I can live my life. And let my nose heal. Not constantly thinking about one single thing and one thing only.... where im going to get more blues.... and damn money for them!

I have however asked myself. specifically while consuming my new Drug of Choice....
Is this truly going in the 'right' direction?

I've been clean for 8 months now after 15+ years of opioid use and the main reason was because it's just not worth using anymore because it's all fent or worse. I hate that shit. There's no warm bliss, euphoria, like with old school heroin. So I'm done. I also got tired of passing out and pissing myself. You know how they describe viruses? You would think that the most "successful" virus would be the "septicemic plague" or "ebola" as they infect and kill so quickly.

What you learn is that the most successful viruses actually need to travel and infect more people. The virus needs to spread. If it kills a person instantly, it can't do that.

I feel the drug market is the same. Fentanyl creates addicts quickly and consumes them. Maybe it consumes them too quickly and too completely.

At the end of the day, nothing is free. Addicts need to generate cash to get their drugs. If they are dead or so crippled by withdrawal that they cannot hustle, it can all implode.

We have people who are literally rotting from the inside out from these drugs. You'll hear that cartels are eliminating Fentanyl in their localities, as too many people are being affected.

I feel if they are astute businessmen, they will revert to selling a drug with more longevity. Fentanyl/Xylazine is a good way to male a lot of money quickly, but it does not last. The people don't last.

The sustainable alternatives that exist to this are pretty obvious too, Bentley compounds come to mind initially. There's a vaguely unhinged opioid chemist who certainly knows her shit (oxycosmopolitan) who's made this point much better than I can, my realm is really serotonin and NMDA related and I try to stay in my lane. The fact that we aren't nationally cultivating Turkish poppies for thebaine right now is unironically killing people and it's fucking tragic.

Anyway, I had a curiosity hit me. I wanted to see if there were any new Opioid Research Chemicals.

I am seeing now on some sites stuff that is really intriguing. For instance, I'm seeing Phenethylnoroxymorphone [sic] as just one example. There is also an analog of Levorphanol that I've seen.

Surprised I haven't seen a lot of information about this stuff. Can someone enlighten me? O would've killed for Oxymorphone when I was still using. This analog is apparently just as good. Why no hype?

There are of course the nitazenes which would arguably fall into this category.

There's also some really recently released ones like Spirochlorphine and Methiodone - I've only recently seen these ones getting any mention and haven't read any reports (I'll take a peek and see if I can find anything). I think the main reason there isn't information about most of this stuff is that they're far too new to have any legitimate peer reviewed information, and they haven't been out long enough to have substantial anecdotal accounts.

I am in Tenn, I don’t smoke fetty but I do have a blue habit. My plug usually gets his older Aunts script of real roxys and then has fake fent blues rest of the month. Tbh I hate fent blues but I will tolerate them. The high is completely different for me. Real roxys give me that euphoric burn in my stomach and makes me super chatty while the fent just slurs me out. Starting about 3 weeks ago, we started getting these absolutely piss poor dirty blues. I try to limit myself to just like 5-8 daily, which I sniff. These current blues, I can literally sniff 15 in a 3 hour window and feel next to nothing. No itch no nods. Nothing. It does keep me out of withdrawal but just staying out of withdrawal is not why I spend money on these. Shit sucks right now. Probably gonna use this time to get back on subs and quit again.

I just recently fell back in on blues myself I'm also a roxi lover, anyway yeah ^^ and idk I guess it's a good thing that these aren't snacking because lord knows how dicey that game gets...
They remind me of coke. Like I just need to snort a bit more I find myself on the 3rd blue when I planned to only test out a quarter or half a press. I guess the burn or some sort of nose candy is also a big part of this addiction to opioids. Because I want to feel that burn & taste that drip and feel it. I remember when feeling it meant you were sick as fuck or awoke from a black out..not that I want THAT AT ALL but it does say something about today's potency and I suppose really is a good thing. A REAL GOOD THING WOULD BE THE DOCTORS AND GOVERNMENT HIT THAT REWIND BUTTON ON SCRIPTS INSTEAD OF PPL RESORTING TO RUSSION ROULETTE.

But yeah I don't plan on really buying any more unless they happen to be right there readily available..chasing death fuck that. Give some vicodin or oxy NOT trying to die here america.....
