I'm rolling around here, chillin the fuck out and getting my music running again now that I've reinstalled XP. I fucking hate Microsoft. My next desktop is going to be an iMac. All I really want to do with it is make music anyway.

Working on a cool project for BDD as soon as the tunes are flowing. Should have something in a day or two, depending on whether I go into Rainman mode and just shut out everything to work on it. It's been known to happen. Might need to sneak off and smoke a doob.
 
Hola, amigos. My internetz died on me last night, but it's back in action again. I never realized how much I depend on this shit to keep me occupied.

Nice track, Oby. Check this: Russian Circles - Station I saw them live with Minus The Bear a few years ago. They were loud as fuck, and I completely forgot about them till a couple days ago.
 
Mr. B, there was this hella sweet documentary on (The) Pink Floyd last night on VH1 Classic. Don't know if you get that channel in Oz, but if you do, I suggest looking online to see when it will be on again. It's very informative, and all four members contribute to the discussion (Rick Wright did it from the grave somehow...actually, it was recorded before he died and I'm probably going to hell for joking about it) and they follow them from the era of Syd and Piper At The Gates of Dawn all the way to The Division Bell. Good stuff.
 
^ Yeah, I agree. They did stretch it out a bit too long. It would be perfect if it was only the first 3 - 4 minutes.

VERY LATE EDIT - Mr B, just gave your tracks a listen. Nice shit. I definitely look forward to hearing the final product.

6/7: Glad you liked brother, I will mos def have to get some better recordings done. I know a guy that will do them in a studio for cheap and my bass player is almost done building a computer will be able to record on. I just need to figure out the best option for getting the instruments into the computer (e.g. as many tracks as possible, as cheap as possible).

I think we get VH1 here on cable, which I have; will try and find the documentary. Thanks for the heads up. :D
 
No problem, but do you also get VH1 Classic, because that is the channel it was on. Sorry if that's a stupid question, but to me, Australia is another planet entirely, so I'm not familiar with your languages, customs, culture, transportation, biology, dance, foods, forms of sacrifice, and TV stations. I'm slowly learning, though, and one day when space travel at the speed of light is possible, then I will finally be able to come visit.
 
We get one of your shows over here now, The Chasers War On Everything. Fucking hilarious. It debuts this tomorrow on G4, but they showed a sneak-peek episode over the weekend.
 
Finally got my for-fucking mixer working. Jesus christ. Apparently the secret is to install, uninstall, reinstall, crossinstall, delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinstall, and every other thing you can think of with every single driver for 3 different versions until shit finally just decides to work for no apparent reason. I'll be able to post some shitty covers online for everyone to mock soon. :P
