I took 78mg (34mg + 25mg + 19mg) over the course of a night with alcohol (about 6 drinks) and a bit of weed. Ethlyphenidate is my first RC stim although I have used Adderall, Ritalin, and coke before. I have not used stimulants for several months.
I performed an allergy test earlier in the day and proceeded (around 9PM) to take a shot and insufflate 34mg. I drank a bit more before doing another 25mg line perhaps an hour or two later and drank a bit more after that. At this point I experienced prominent euphoria, pronounced bruxism, and increased sociability as the main effects from the ethylphenidate. I felt the disinhibition from alcohol without any of the sloppiness. At some points I became rather belligerent which does not normally happen when I drink. The ethlyphenidate instilled a general sense of "get up and go" in me. People started packing up around midnight and the party had died down by around two. At this point I attempted to smoke a bowl and fall asleep, but was forced to concede that sleep would be difficult if not impossible. I experienced a great deal of residual stimulation to the point that I stayed up all night. It wasn't until around 8AM that I began to feel hungry; the first sign that the ethylphenidate had completely worn off. At this point I insufflated an additional 19mg, not for the purpose of getting high, but simply to curb my appetite and keep me awake long enough to make it to a meeting with my boss. This did the trick.
As others have said there is a great deal of pain when insufflated. I'd say it's on par with 2C-X. My first bump induced tears, but subsequent bumps felt fine, perhaps because of the lower dosage. That aside, I found it not only enjoyable, but surprisingly practical with relatively mild side effects. It paired well with a night of drinking without being too over the top (although there were certainly moments where I talked to an excessive degree). What was interesting was what happened afterwards. I spent a couple hours laying in bed before I got up and decided to do some programming. I noticed a remarkable increase in motivation. I started out by visiting the usual time wasting websites and found that I was more interested in working than wiling away the time on any number of forums or imageboards. I found this motivation to be far less pushy than Adderall, but much easier to work with than coke (both of which I have used to study/work before). At first I was upset about the ongoing stimulation, but I soon turned it to my advantage and got a decent amount done before showering and getting ready for work. During this time I didn't find myself wired, but simply awake and reasonably alert. At times I noticed mild chest pain and mildly elevated heart rate, but nothing to be worried about. I can definitely see potential in ethylphenidate depending on how it's used. I view it as primarily a practical stimulant with some euphoria thrown in as a bonus.
