The DMT discussion thread

I'm guessing you would get heaps of undesirables in the end product.. although i just read on a forum that A. Obtusifolia only contains DMT and NMT anyway, and that NMT can be removed using the right solvent in a recrystallization (taking out the yellowish NMT, and leaving behind white DMT)

So then is it right to assume that the yellow spice getting around was prepared with a STB and the white spice is done by defat?
 
Well i get pure white crystals from the first 4 or 5 pulls out of my STB extraction.. and then i leave it over night and swirl it around every few hours and do a few more pulls and get some more yellowish

(with Mimosa powdered root bark)
 
white is meant to mean pure, but i've seen alot of people (wouldnt be able to find the links now) that say they prefer the yellowish and say that it's more intense

i can't say i've noticed much difference myself so far..

i spose some people are really pedantic and prefer their product to be white and pure.. but then others only know DMT to be slightly yellowish so it doesn't bother them
 
me and a friend ventured into the woods near me today and smoked up a 40mg dose each
i have done 40mg a couple times before but indoors.... all i can say is get yourself down to the woods with the machine loaded up, it was another level im not really good with describing things so im not even gona try just av a go urself its amazing

verybuffed i personally dont find much difference in potency between the pure white and the yellowish crystals but i have only just dipped my toe in the water with this compound so cant really give too much of an opinion but i am in the lucky position of having a nice little pile of the yellowish crystal and will have a fresh batch of pure white DMT by the weekend =D
 
At a recent doof festival i got hold of a small changa mix. I was told it was DMT, a kind of wattle. It's got some blue colours herby bits in there, smells like arse if lit. Could anyone suggest the best course of action for dosage levels? ( If it is what i got told it was )
 
you can never know exactly how much DMT is in there unless you made the mix yourself which you didnt so i would suggest just rolling it up and smoke until you get the desired effect
and DMT does generally smell unpleasent when burned although i dont mind the smell/taste couple of my mates say it smells like fart gas haha
 
I managed to get hold of some DMT. I'm not sure in regards to purity how it is though.

its beige with a strong hint of pink. Its more of a clumped powder (most of it in rocks about the size of a match head), and it has a bit sweet smell (almost like aniseed). Would this a particularly impure batch, and likely to cause some unwanted side effects?

Also, is it safe to eye ball a dose or does it need to be weighed? I am planning on smoking it through a weed pipe or a bong. What would be a good dose to start with (first time).
 
Vaporize 20mg, its funny how everyones scoring dmt all of a sudden at once:) Bye bye stims hello tryptamines:) Not sure about the pinkish color as it should be white or a slight light yellow tinge. Prob hasnt been purified to the max.

After a long chat with another DMT officionado about this thread I have decided to add more in regards to smokable DMT and also a section on oral DMT administration

Just a warning

I recently smoked a chang blend containing a large amount of syrian rue which resulted in a horrible experience where I nearly choked to death on my own spew

I worked out it was due to the large amount of aged cheese and beer I had ingested leading up to the chang

MAOI's don't mix well with some foods so be very careful

I will add more info in coming days

That's scary. Sounds like the Rue is a much more potent MAOI than Caapi.

I'd stick to very small amounts of DMT in combo as the effects are amplified many times over.

Its slightly sticky and crystalline, it shines under light. Apparently good stuff:) Guess theres only one way to find out LOL
 
Well I had my first experience of DMT today.

i started off with 20mg of beige powder mixed with a smokers blend of colts foot (light smokable from happy high herbs). After doing this I got some tracers and quite a strong body buzz. My mate had similiar on the same dose.

I then ramped it up to 40mg. After trying to pull the whole cone at once I nearly choked on the disgusting smoke. With my throat burning and coughing I felt an intense body high. It was also accompanied by everything turing into a 2D water painting. Vapour came off every object and a being transformed from the sky (though it was just a face - similiar to santa claus - no contact with this being). it felt like a ridiculous experience and had no spiritual aspect.

A mate then tried 100mg (he likes to delve in head first). he nearly dropped the bong and had a look of absolute bliss and all that came out of his mouth was 'fuuuucckkk!' followed by some very deep breathes. Aparently he was shot up into the sky where there was a psychedelic carnival.

i then tried 80mg. this time I opted for some calming music (vibrasphere's mountain lake). I was immediately beyong this world. i entered a realm where two god like, masculine and femine entities where engaged in what seemed like love making but with no sexual overtones. More like they were caught in a deep, and all loving embrace. All i felt at this moment was complete love for all eternity. It was overwhelmingly beautiful. however, I was just an observer to the act between the two entities i could feel all the love that was radiating between them. The masculine entity reminded me of buddah.

Slightly after i was back to reality I finished the cone, which gave me no near a break through but more like 10 hits of acid experience. My mate then handed me a 2 nang balloon. I then entered the nangasphere and had visuals that could only be described as 'alex grey' like (the artist that did the cover art for tool's lateralis).

All in all it was possibly the most profound experience of my life.

Did you really work the DMT into the smoking blend or just "mix" it through?

I find rubbing it deep into the blend (mortar and pestle works best) can lead to a 2X increase in potency as the DMT fully vaporizes this way.

Using solvents is still by far the best option
