george carlin had a funny stand-up bit once about a belief of his. his belief was that when you die you end up wherever you think you're gonna end up. i.e. christians go to heaven or hell depending on their level of guilt.... buddhists reincarnate or don't... his belief was that when he dies he's gonna end up in a bathroom in ri de janiero.

anyway, my point is... you might only be an eternal being if you truly want to be part of eternity.
 
murphy's law is the 0th law of thermodynamics

before the first law of thermodynamics existed.... before matter itself existed.... there was the eternal fact that "if anything can go wrong, it will." then the big bang and all this other stuff happened. ;)
 
Doesn't that law supervene on "wrong" being meaningful, and thus suggest that there must have been moral order before the universe existed?
 
i see what you're saying.

but murphy's law also relies on the existence of "anything" before it relies on that "anything" being "wrong."

and its possible that there wasn't anything before the big bang

*shrugs* i like the humor of it more than anything :) we can talk about it seriously too though lol

posit a better theory as to why anything exists at all? :) IMO my Murphy Bang theory is pretty likely to be true, but if i hear a better one... :)

this is from wikipedia but it made me laugh so hard for some reason that i had to share

is that fact relevant enough to warrant inclusion in wikipedia? :)

does that mean that 224 is the first least relevant number? :)

also from the wiki on 223: "223 is a long prime, a strong prime, a lucky prime and a sexy prime (with 229)."

"sexy primes" are apparently prime numbers that lay exactly 6 digits away from another prime number. so sexy primes always come in pairs.... sometimes triplets....

i really hope that the mathemetician that first thought up "sexy primes" actually gets laid once in awhile

well art and philosophy sure aren't mutually exclusive. Art could really just be the physical manifestation of a certain philosophical stance? Philosophy is a very vague term and art can also be a very vague term.

So I conclude, in my infinite wisdom, that no there is no difference between art and philosophy. It would be all to exhausting to find and it and it would be rather arbitrary.

"Sophia" is Gaia, light and dark matter, and i believe a part of our DNA, the same as our Karmic and Dharmic path, which is a rather technical part of spirituality that goes unappreciated in that sense, Sophia and Christ who are not exactly the same as but think, Shiva and Shakti, or the balance of Suffering and Compassion to the point of light which is the Buddha, who all are upon realization, at that moment, as much of a traceable biological/synapses firing reaction as the kundalini experience is - every seven years the rise of the kundalini occurs in everyone, to varying extents, and upon this happening our taste buds change, many things including the 'statue of limitations' in a legal criminal sense, because of the physiological changes that take place, effecting ones psychological demeanor and general morals and ethics, out look on life...

trying to put into words my disgust with this materialistic life I've built in the past half year is causing my serious mental anguish... this close to saying fuckit to everything I've built (and is so comfortable, yet numbing) to hit the road for homelessness, asceticism, and spiritual cleansing.
