I know exactly what you mean about the vivid dreams! Loved getting them up until a few weeks ago where I have a horrific one. Every time I think about sleep paralysis my eyes fucking water so much, full on tears streaming down my face, what the fuck is with that......?
But yeah, back on topic. I pretty much realised that after I do MDMA I get home from a rave at between 8-11am and then sleep fine, the next day I normally sleep fine but it's always on the third day (and the next couple) I have some crazy lucid dream and I have full control over. Either that or I have the most awesome dream ever, I've been doing Motocross for the last 10+ years and the dreams normally consist of hitting the biggest jump ever, with the best style. Everything in the dream is spot on, even down to what gear I'm hitting the jumps in. The psychics is 100% spot on and the adrenaline feels so real.
Last time I did MDMA three days after I had such a horrid dream, it was probably just as bad as any sleep paralysis I've ever had and I've has some nasty experiences. What happened was I woke up in my nans house (this all seemed very real because I lived there for 4-6 months why my house was being extended). I went downstairs and a lot of my younger cousins and my auntie was round, (they always drop there kids round before/after school so again, this was all very real). At that point I instantly started tripping, well.... not tripping but I actually felt schizophrenic. I knew I woke up, it felt like I'd woke up but I still felt so wrong, feeling of fear just flying round. My light/dark were all wrong, everything looked dark and it felt asthough I could see things flying round messing up the contrast. My whole family was round so I was trying to keep it cool, I normally handle all my trips really well but it wasn't helping. I knew something was so wrong. At that point I managed to take my head out of my arms and ask for a glass of water, my nan went and got this and I drunk it but it seemed to do nothing. Then I proceeded to say "It still doesn't feel like I've woken up, can you get me a cup of tea. Maybe a hot drink will help (I'm so British). I remember sipping the tea and it actually felt hot, it felt like it burnt my lips then I woke up. I woke up and genuinely thought I may have to go and change my sheets but luckily it was just sweat.........
Pretty much laid there for an hour in awe at what had just happened. I also pretty much went through everything on the dream and there really was nothing that I could/should have picked up on to let me know I was dreaming. All my fingers were there, the clocks were working, the light switch worked, I had one left and one right hand.
