Honestly man, I think putting meth in ecstasy, the "love drug", to be one of the worst things imaginable....
Not only is it much, MUCH worse for you than either drug alone, but is also still extremely addictive... just in a different way. Since there is MDMA in it too, people can't take it every day or really binge on it, but they will come back every week and get very deep into a habitual use of the drug. At least that's what happened with me.
Whenever I've noticed myself slipping into an addiction to any drug, I throw the breaks on. The problem with meth is, your brain likes it so much that it will convince you that its not that bad, you'll be dosing every week and you almost think its GOOD for you... you certainly don't consider the fact that your doing hard drugs often with little recovery time.
Its just a different addiction, with different addicts, but a similar outcome...
The reason Washington pressers stopping making MDMA pills, was because a LOT of MDxx + Speed pills were going around, and being sold very well. People knew they had some meth in them, but it was OK because its ecstasy. Then they would start getting the horrible comedowns you get from that combo, and would look for something they could do every week without much of one...
So basically, it started with pure MDMA pills, then MDMA with a bit of speed for the ravers, then equal amounts of speed and MDMA to make more money, then eventually just meth because people will still buy them anyways
Speed + MDMA is a great combo, but it needs to be done more responsibly than MDMA alone. Not to mention, whenever I did the combo, I would get like 4 pills to start and almost always be trying to get more before the night is over, that wouldn't happen with pure MDMA.
I can understand not wanting to associate with crystal, but buying adulterated pills is buying adulterated pills... IDK I guess you cant get pills actually sold as speed there like we can here and in Canada, but still I just hate when meth is thought of as ecstasy. Look what happened to those Pumas, if people had not bought them when the first hints of meth went in those pills might still be good
