Welcome to Chicago Cupcakes!!! Being sick sucks but if your out west, you just got to be cautious. Dont be hanging out to long, dont get high on the block, and try not to be white (LOL! HAHA) thats the best advice i could give you. Getting a number aint a bad idea either! If things do get heavy just tell the nice officer you are new in town and are lost, good luck~!

Idk man, I'm not too sure about the whole science of it, but that happens to me too and I've only taken subs a handful of times in my life. I can take a break for a long ass time and it doesn't really change much. Sure the first few highs I will need substantially less but that's about it. I was clean for 7 months at one point and it took no time to get back to where I was. Even the first few, my tolerance is never as low as it was in the days before I ever got addicted. I remember how long it took me to work my way up to being able to handle like 20mg of oxy, then from there it fucking exploded. It never goes back to nothing, I don't think your receptors have been damaged by the subs, I think your brain chemistry just changes after you've been exposed to a lot.

Tommy, your high tolerance doesnt have a damn thing to do with bupe. All opiate addicts can get high a few times on low doses, but after that, we need more and more.lbcfourthstreet

Haha thanks. Unfortunately I'm white and a female so anywhere I go that's seedy i'll stick out a lot. Things are A LOT different here vs how they are in Pittsburgh. But thanks for the advice
I didn't mean that it was specific to bupe, but methadone as well. With the maintenance drugs with long half-lives it makes it so that you have opioids on your receptors 24/7 for however long you are on maintenance. That makes the new norm for your body to be operating with opioids all the time, more-so than a dope habit where it doesn't last as long and at least in my case I spend more time without dope being active in my system then I do high.
With bupe or methadone your body chemistry is reprogrammed to operate with opioids normally so there's a level that your tolerance really won't go below again IME. If I was somehow able to dose heroin several times a day without fail for a long period of time then I'm sure it would have the same effect on tolerance as bupe does. Pre-bupe I could get high on like 60mg of hydrocodone if I took a few weeks off of dope or oxy, and if spaced out by like 5 days I could continue to get high like that. Post-bupe I could get an alright high if I took a long enough break, but even with spacing out my use my tolerance would be back to how it was before the break.

So many times tried to kick and just when I start feelin a little better I think oh well what's one more time and boom all over again. Although its awful being sick when I'm using heavy I avoid it like the plague but every now and then something happens where you just can't cop, either no money, or something and your sick for a day but when you finally fix it feels better than any of the others. Although the hours of misery that proceed it are really not worth it. It's also nice when you actually save some and a big one for the morning and you didn't have to leave or call to cop. Those ones are pretty good too. Ugh finally took a bup today after a decent run. Gonna try to chill for a couple days. That run in with Chicagos finest has me weary of a WS trip.

It,sounds like some normal,rationale has finally set in. It is so friggin dangerous scoreing in the west sode I dont ever go there,well almost never,but I have 2 capsule guys and one friend that will walk in the ghetto and cop for me for one bag. Its well eprth it cause those b+man bags are 2x the size of the capsules,but them.capsules are plenty good for me. I got them for a friend who was livin out west fo.ten years and he said that they were firr,just good to me but fire to someone from otta town.
After reading your comment and others I understand the danger in trying to get dope there but these past three days have been hell and we all have to make some risky decisions sometimes. I bet bags out here are a lot better than the ones i'm used to. Before dope I stuck to Opana really, but then they turned them into fucking plastic. I was doing a 40 or two a day. Then started injecting about 3 bags a day- which fucked me up pretty easily (and i know for a fact the shit i was getting wasnt that good) so yeah. Rambling.

hey yea its dangerous, you think cops love the fact that everyone and their mother knows what is going on the westside and its rite in their face, its like insulting for some of them, and then you have the blue and whites or norcs that take it personal, i mean there are cops out there that will not even think twice of planting shit on you, if you mouth off or talk back to them.. they pretty much can do whatever the fck they want out there.. who are people gonna believe a police officer or some white dude in the middle of the slums in the middle of the block or ally or where ever your favorite tip is at..lbcfourthstreet

On the days when all goes well, which is most of the time, it doesn't seem bad at all because you're in and out so fast and easy that you let your guard down and could get caught slipping. All I know is I got lucky the first time with a really cool officer who told me just to leave when I know it could have been much much worse. But until I quit or I find a safer number connect its like playing the lottery and hope and pray that out of the thousands of deals that go on every day on the WS that you're not the one who gets busted.towerhigh

I used to like going early 9 ish but who the hell knows. Maybe the best time to go is when it's busy and increase your odds. I've been later in the afternoon and they'll be serving all these fools at the same time. Wish I knew when was best because that's when I'd go. I'm usually stuck though because it's hard to wait when you're sick til later hours.
