Dried Mushroom storage

How long dried psilocybin mushrooms last in a drawer in a plastic bag?
Is there some better way to store 'em?

Few months you won't notice much loss in potency (mainly the 4-oh-DMT will break down, the 4-po-DMT will remain relatively stabile).

You can vacuum seal them and freeze them for long-term (1-2 years) storage.

I've had shrooms stored in a drawer in the past for 3-4 months and they were still good when I finally munched em.
 
Has anyone sprayed key board duster in their vials to get the oxygen out? Or know what kind of gas is in most keyboard duster? Or something better that is good and easily available? I searcher around a bit on google and didn’t find much but the first hit when you put “keyboard duster” in google was Erowid experience vault “Having Sex With Keyboard Duster” I don’t think I will try it though.
 
You might try a homebrew store. A well-stocked one will carry argon or nitrogen for winemaking.
 
any ideas on the shelf life of 5-meo-mipt?
its currently stored in a air tight vial, put in a baggie, placed in a box under a desk.

can i simply put that one in my freezer?
 
The 5 meo mipt should be fine. Mine is stored similarly without any loss in potency.
As for 5 meo dmt. I once found a 2 year old sample between 2 floor boards in my closet. The color of it had changed from white to yellow but the potency remained the same.
 
Was that freebase or HCL delsyd (for the -DMT).

I feel as if we are merging into one computer entity. Ultimately capable of answering any routine question in regards psychedelics with ease and efficiency. Quite a team.

You're right, we do tend to answer questions in the same threads.
Wish i could do it more often but i dont have access to a computer all the time. Only when i stay at my girlfriends house, and thats only half the week.:(
 
Ah, yes, I expect the freebase is much more unstabile. The HCL can be vaporized since it has a lowish MP.

shelf life?

can anyone tell me what the shelf life of LSD is once dropped onto a sugar cube?
and also, how long will it last in the bottle?

I cant tell you exactly how long its shelf life is, but i can say that you can increase LSD life-span by keeping it in the dark and keeping it cold. sometimes i store my sid in the freezer.
 
I kept LSD-laced sugar cubes frozen...and it took me well over 5 years to go through them all. As long as you keep it free from air and light...it should keep. I kept the sugar cubes in a plastic bag, inside of a jar. Worked fine.
