The Big & Dandy Solo Trip Thread

^Smoking (real, no dragons blood shit) opium is excelent whlie tripping. Taking a vic or perc is not in the same league...

I plan on ingesting mushrooms for the first time ever, by myself soon. I also plan on picking up some valiums just in case. I plan on spending half of it in my house and the other half walking along the river, maybe riding my bike. I plan to bring a backpack with :Paper/pen. markers. Snack Bars, water. sunglasses. cd player.

plus the other stuff i always have with me like bud, knife. i like egor idea of bringing candy.

If anyone has anything else they think would be useful or any all around knowledge about tripping alone, please let me know.

I tend to enjoy more during the come down - I like to fully experience the peak, and then taste that sweet O

I'm in the same boat. At the end of a trip I'll usually have a vicodin on hand to help relax me. Still curious if anyone has tried it mid-trip?
 
Yeah I was leaning towards that. Curious though.. what makes you feel it is a waste? Does the L just overpower the vicodin? Oh wells, I guess benedryl will be my companion. Is there any physical harm that could come from the two? Probably not but just wanted to double check.
 
^i made some strong poppy tea for the peak of an acid trip once, and later regretted it. I definitely felt the tea, and it was good as always, but it robbed the acid of all its magic, damped the visuals and just kind of numbed me.
 
I Love Solo Trips! 2 days ago I tripped on 850ug alone, on my bed, in complete darkness and stayed in the fetal position for 10 hours thinking I was dead but I was like HEY WHY THE FUCK IS THERE AWARENESS. I remember looking at my own hands and not knowing who (THAT ORGANISM) was. I didnt know I was a human or alive or anything at all. I was just everythign at once. Everything in the room turned into this white energy that flowed and morphed into everything, emanating from my crown chakras. WOW. It was an intense, hard, amazing, beautiful, scary and loving trip. I think im done with solo trips for at least a few months but damn I got far. I realized that yes once again I AM THE UNIVERSE. I saw the clear white light engulf my whole being but it didnt come from outside myself, it came form inside myself- in other words- I AM THE CLEAR WHITE LIGHT- WE ALL ARE! it is just different perspectives and forms of it experiencing itself subjectivley for the sake of experience. Oh man. Solo trips can take me to places that I never realized I was at all along. LOL!

sorry for the ramble, just felt like sharing my recent solo trip experience.
 
I'm going on a 800ug solo trip tonight, most I've done yet.

I recently took 50 mg 2C-E alone, rectally, and I must say I didn't take very good precautionary measures, except a lot of water and music. Make sure if you are using headphones, that they will not bug you. Comfort is paramount. Don't get dehydrated.

Solo trip neccesity- one psychedelic substrate of choice; some enhancers, DMT, nitrous, possibly weed; colourful blanket, mp3player, water, fruit/nuts, incense, 1 x drum and some kind of magic trinket, say a crystal skull or somesuch. Also 1x Open Mind...:)

Attenuating means to decrease or alter the effect f, in this case, drugs. Opiates will reduce the psychedelic intensity of a trip; but still add their own opiate intensity.

My solo trip necessities:
1) Makers Mark
2) Phish
3) Grateful Dead
4) Cigarettes
5) Benzo's for some excellent sleep on the comedown

and that's all folks!
 
When solo tripping I make sure I have someone I can call. Make sure I have some benedryl or melatonin on me to help me sleep and calm down if i feel like it's getting a little to intense. Also I've found that watching a TV show or movie (not animated) helps bring you back down a little bit. It has helped me to be able to sense reality in tough times.

Music also has played a roll in how the trip flows. Different music can bring on different emotions. Sometimes heavy IDM or psytrance can bring on anxiety, so I switch over to some downtempo or ambient music.
