The Big & Dandy Solo Trip Thread

It'll be in the safety of my own home thats for sure. I've been fascinated with the thought of sensory deprivation while peaking so I'll probably try that, but I'd also like to trip out to some chill trance music while relaxing (hopefully the relaxing part will be viable).

What's even better than sensory deprivation while peaking, is sensory deprivation with a line of special K added in while peaking. I did that during my last solo LSD trip and was literally having visions of people and scenes coming through portals on my wall, even though I was completely in the dark.

Due to my situation, I have always tripped alone to date (with a few exception "run ins" with some people).

The most important thing? Having someone you ABSOLUTELY trust that knows what you're doing and is sober, with you (but allows you time for yourself). If they can't be with you, at least they should be available for contact immediately.

Sadly, I rarely had such a person, heh.

Another necessity that I a sorry to recommend: an adequate dose of benzodiazepine.

Well, I have no benzos and I dont think I can get a hold of any. Anything else that can bring a trip down or calm me out just in case? I have vicodin but I'm not sure that would calm me down. How about MDMA? I haven't had a trip where I felt I NEEDED something to level me out. I'm usually pretty good in handling them, but then again, the most I've ever taken was two tabs spaced out.

MDMA could probably make it more intense, though I've also heard that MDMA can often overpower LSD if you take enough of it.

I've candyflipped before and I found it pretty much took the edge of the L completely off. I guess you could say it removed the "depth" and replaced it with artificial warm happy feelings.

I always like to trip on higher doses alone; necessities for me are music, perhaps some psychedelia-inspired movie for the anxious come-up, cannabis and I always prefer to have benzos on hand (although have never aborted to date)

Alcohol is always nice too, whisky is my preferred drink for tripping!

This may sound weird but when I'm solo tripping, I like to turn up the music and just dance! I can feel every muscle in my body responding to melodic and rhythmic
shifts, and it ends up feeling like a cross between dancing and martial arts, really easy to get into a full-body groove. Try it :D

^ I hear you there mate, have been known to do the same myself.

And to the OP - NO CANDLES!!!!

have done, you can feel what your doing with your energy as you dance, it creates the experience in a different way.

I usually always trip alone in my apartment. My key supplies usually include: (1) a pen and paper, to take notes on the qualities of the trip, (2) an iPod with really good cans, for intricate music playback, (3) some pre-prepared food, so I don't have to cook while tripping and (4) a blindfold or a pair of eyephones for sense-dep or fractal-pattern generation (goes great with music--try an iTunes visualizer, you shant regret it).

Having antagonist compounds (a fast-acting benzodiazepine like midazolam or lorazepam) is a good idea if you are trying a brand new chemical for the first time (especially a rare one with little history of human use)--that way if things start to spiral out too far, you can return to earth quickly.

first time i took mushrooms i was alone in my room. it was absolutely amazing, i had so much to do, which was basically listen to some psychedelic music, watch my fish swim around in their tank with my face RIGHT up to the glass(this was intense), also, i had a big sleeping lizard to stare at, as well as lots of plants in my room. sooo my two suggestions are:some real trippy music (shpongle and infected mushroom are good starters) and bring some wildlife into your room! as much as you can, especially animals.

Outdoors solo supplies

-A familiar but isolated location
-Mountain bike
-camelback W/ 100 oz water
-rain suit
-cd player and cd's
-fruit and hard candy
-good sunglasses
-a joint or 2
-2mg klonapin (just in case;))
-cell phone (off, but there in case of emergency)
-knife and multi tool
-albuterol inhaler
-sometimes a 4 piece fly rod for the comedown

indoors I just go with it, I have all the neccessities on hand

There certainly is nothing like cycling whilst tripping

fond memories of scooting around back lanes at silly o'clock in the morning, working up your hear rate!

Does vicodin usually make you feel good? If so, you can definitely use it to bring down the level of the trip. I have in the past and it worked well. Obviously it's best to work through it, but lets be honest in an emergency situation a benzo or opiate is a hell of a lot better than a shot of thorazine down at the local ER.

alprazolam worked a treat for a mate who got a little out of hand...

just 1mg did the job, and he was really going through something bad, won't even speak about it!
