Whoa kracks... I love it! Are you really writing a children's book or are you making a funny?
And FYI in case it's really going to be a published work, towards the end, you've used the wrong "to" (should be "too") and quickly is spelled without the "e" in there.

thanks guys: yes i was a little hasty with the spelling,
the original is formatted on INdesign so it was a quickly made example.... maybe too hastily made

i only got to E, and had to focus on other projects and deal with depression so i hope to finish after my course hand in on monday...
...and DXM has always been a mystical violet indigo blue colour to me...
most of the dxm cough syrups in the uk have it in purple/blue boxes (robitussin, Benely dry non drowsy)
....however the strong one i used to trip (extensively) on was actually green packaging, so your right it can easily be green
....but my book green colours are seen more with natural plant drugs like cannabis and salvia
but syrup is always a peachy, red colour to me
ps its a spoof adult childrens book, kids can still read it though, but they wont really get it i dont think

Have you ever seen
a beautiful angel weep
in a hurry she must be
let me watch over her while she is asleep
if i was not shy
she would look me in the eye
and realize i am a good guy
instead she releases a broken sigh
she feels no hope
many miles she has yet to travel
she finds it difficult to cope
off she goes to face the judge and his gavel
i could have been her guide
to her destination
for her i would have tried
to full is both with true elation
with this angel i would fly
together we would smile
on the clouds we will lie
"lets stay for awhile"
when i wake from this dream
this angel has disappeared
moments ago we sat near a pristine stream
all along this is what i have feared

done the day after seeing Shpongle.
:[ my scanner doesn't like the neon pink. this is really bright. and looks neat under a blacklight. some parts glow in the dark too.
manipulated a picture I took a little bit .. just a little bit. :]
A shirt I just made for myself!
BODYART TIME
had a hell of a time with my neck after that one. done in highlighter and sharpie entirely under a blacklight
my arm. the back was cooler.
some guys head.
I decided he is a mongoose.
aand my other friend, a horse.
I wish I could share loads more bodyart pictures, but both my cameras tragically died in the same week, along with my phone oddly enough. It's a sign. Eventually I'll get the pictures off my friends phone of the best thing I think I've ever drawn on someone. :]

I posted this in the words board, but didn't get any responses. Hoping I'll have better luck here.
This poem is inspired from a bad trip I had. I wrote it about a day after the bad trip for an assignment in my creative writing class. I hope you enjoy.
Delirious Haze
Dancing down in the flaming dreams
Like a madman chanting about his paranoid disease
His eyes glance at pillars of flames that no one sees
His voice melts in a haze from rhythm guitar
He scrambles out of bed in a delirious state of mind
can't think or see straight, can't tell he's in a raving lunar high
The red moon danced as if the sky were set ablaze
Stumbling out of his home, he starts to scream
“I'm not part of myself, don't you see?
People aren't coherent, I refuse to understand
why I'm in this position, why fever infects my brain.”
The cops showed up from his loud racket
cart that crazy man down to psychiatric
Doctors wheel by, nothing's the same
As he lives out the rest of his days
Gone by down, he yearns for freedom
Locked up in an institutionalized asylum
Pump him full of meds until he's semi-conscious
Laying in a stupor, can't control his movements
Relying on nurses for every little thing
He's got very little to look forward to
Then one day he starts to stand up to the ward
“I'm out of control! 4mg of Risperidone!
You may control the daily dose of all these medicines
But you can't control me, my society!”
Calling a dozen orderlies down
The nurse's station becomes a scene of mayhem
This raving man takes up all his strength
Breaking free from mental restraint
Pushed down by a dozen syringes
He gets knocked out and the doctors repair the carnage
“He's a harm to himself and society, which is why we're moving
him to the chronic ward.”
I just hope Nurse Ratched will have mercy
on his blazing soul.

A question for all the artists in here, did you always draw as well as you do now, or did it take a lot of practice? My drawing skills are almost non-existent now, they used to be alright, but nothing compared to any of the amazing stuff in here, I do very much love drawing though, particularly on 2C-E, so maybe if I get a little better I'll contribute some
