Yeah guys, I've been told that by many people who I've showed this to. I haven't checked to see if BL has a policy on advertising one's own artistic output for sale, but at the very least, PM me if you want to commission me to make you something like this and we can talk. I'm happy to do it, they're fun to make. If I'm careful about what materials I use, I could probably turn them out pretty cheaply.
 
Please reactivate your photobucket account by signing into it so the rest of us can see the pictures.

I don't really consider myself much of an artist, but I like to try to open up my creative side under the influence of various drugs.

This is a "poem" that I wrote under the influence of salvia:
Waiting, transforming
Producing silved linings
In the covering of the
Blue company shouldn’t
Excuse the mayor of
Sunday morning. Wouldn’t
It silvolve
Every time
The meat fruit
Chopped in the
Teeth. The meat fruit is accessible and edible.
The air is meat fruit.

Man, this thread is just totally stunning! <3 I wish I were a tenth as visually/poetically artistic as you guys (I'm more of a music guy).
 
Very nice. It's hard to find chicks into good music from the 60's and 70's. Or good music at all for that matter unless they're fifty-years-old. No offense if she is, but I guess what I'm trying to say is that music has really gone to shit lately.

there is a whole lot of very good innovative music out there...it just so happens only about 5 percent of what you hear on the radio is this./..(probably less in USA)

Pans I would totally buy that...think it would be good for me & future kids :)

v1c she's not like 50 she's 35, but no problemo - The 60's and 70's did produce some insanely good music though - a lot of freedom-based music, which just doesn't happen enough these days, when quite frankly in some ways it's ALOT worse than it was back then. :\

Again, i must disagree. Sure the freedom based, innovative music isnt mainstream in this era, but its still being made. Just look harder ;)

There's always going to be good music. The thing is that the mainstream today has no common value and fighting spirit, it's just corporate inbreed and money everywhere. So there's of course nothing wrong with the musical minds of todays people, but the connections are not as good as they can be, and the money won over love, basically.

That's how I see it and I could put it better but I hope you get the point.

It is out there yeah but you have to look a lot harder - it's not thrust in your face like back in the day is all I was saying...

Most good hiphop is about the struggle for freedom, the rest is about partying hard...not fucking bitches and cars. :p
But, back on track - I should look back through this thread and check out your art mista...or poetry?

Did not mean to insult.
But yes, its no longer everywhere.
Everytime I watch Across the Universe, it makes me wish i lived in the beloved 6/70's. Such a beautiful time in history.

Actually dont have any art/poetry posts in this thread. I am a writer though.
Heres something inspired by a salvia trip:

Fear tatooed down my spine,
like a never ending chill.
Sitting at the waters edge,
trying not to feel.

All I see is sillouehttes,
of beings i wish i knew.
The only light that I can see,
comes from deep inside of you.

Whispering quietly into,
this dark blue lake of souls.
I ask for just one last chance,
for God to make me whole.
