ya it was done freehand...with a bic pen.....4 consecutive collective trips compilled and still working on it....

Me and my girlfriend and a bunch of friends went to this awesome Psytance event in Deerfields, NC this weekend. Basically it was a big 2/3 day thing where you go up in the mountains and camp with a bunch of hippies and there's lots of awesome art and crazy music and everyone's having a great time.

I decided to doodle at some point during the day and filled up a bit of the page and sometimes would want to dance and leave my sketch pad, so I'd hand it to someone and welcome them to add their piece to it. The sketch pad got left in various places around the camp ground and would come back to me at various times having gone through the hands of people I may or may not have talk to throughout the weekend.

So basically this thing is maybe 50-60% me and the rest is added stuff by various friends and total strangers :)

edit: oh yeah, the stain in the corner is from some chai tea that got spilled on it (the best chai I've ever had in fact)

kidspatula, that's pretty cool. I have a couple collaborative efforts sitting around here from last summer's weeklong party I hosted. I'll dig them out and post some time.
 
hosted?? weeklong party??damn you city slickers! I'm stuck in the Styx viewing this stuff from a makeshift computer made out of cardboard boxes and sheep's heads!
 
:) My house was pretty trashed, though nothing was missing or broken. Had a around a thousand cigarette butts and even more beer cans and unknown pills and the like strewn all over the place. It was awesome. I'll invite Bluelight next time.
 
that would awesome, but I probably live thousands of kilometres away (perhaps the way I spelt the measurement will hint at that :))

We've got quite a collection posted here. I just went back and looked at everything over again from start to finish.
 
A simple realization captured on my last 2c-e trip:

To sin is to forget
Fear of death is fear of remembering
To be enlightened is to remember
To remember is to live up to it fully

Collaboration between me and a friend. We each started on one side and worked towards eachother, detailing eachother's work. Done with Flourescent markers under black light :)
