^^Yeah, MXE itself is fairly benign... but if you let it take ahold of you, it can be just like any other addiction. I've been successfully using it once every month or so these days, but this time last year I was doing it multiple days a week.

No, it has everything to do with the combination. It was an almost lethal combo, not because I almost jumped out of a window but because of the effect it had on my body. The only thing I can relate it to is some kind of seizure like event where I completely went psychotic in a sense, essentially blacking out (I did black out for a minute, or two, or three, I don't really even know). If you are inferring the heroin had something to do with it, not at all because I had last dosed almost 10 hours prior to doing the 100mg line of MXE and 300 or so micrograms of 1p-lsd.

I have taken MXE many, many, many times, in very high doses, and I have taken 1p-lsd three times. Never have I ever experienced anything close to that on their own.

You say that but many others have done the combination with no dangerous effects, and you cannot simply blame the combination when there are so many elements at play. I intentionally did not specify a different reason for the adverse effects because there are too many possibilities for me to go casting blame when I have such a limited picture of the situation surrounding the events. However, I would suggest you to remember that humans are often influenced and affected psychosomatically, a phenomena that becomes even more pervasive during the psychedelic experience.
 
As someone from Kansas, the fuck does the title of this tread mean. Seriously been scratchin me head onthis for a littlw while lol.
 
So I've done some searching and didn't find any definite answer to my question through Google so I figured I'd ask here, would there be any reasonably easy way to wash MXE that's presumed to be 70% purity, the other 30% being caffeine as a cut? It's the best MXE I can find but its recently been said to be 30% caffeine on Reddit among other places and I'd love to be able to do a wash of it if I wouldn't lose more than 30%-40% of my product. Any advice would be great, thanks!

Fuck whoever cut that MXE, I remember seeing that. I don't have much reason to believe that it's even MXE, but if it actually is, what blasphemy to cut something so precious. Prices are already outrageous now, why try and juice people for even more..

I don't have much useful advice about cleaning it. Google says caffeine is soluble in acetone, I couldn't find any solid answers about whether or not MXE is soluble in acetone as well, though. If you dig a bit deeper there's probably an answer. If it's not soluble then you could probably do an acetone wash. Remember to dry the acetone first.

Yeah why caffeine out of everything you could cut with. Not only is cutting dangerous but caffeine is active, I think that is shitty. I was looking into buying from them but my girlfriend is very sensative to caffeine
 
I might be off on this one but if the MXE is cut with caffeine than it may be a nearly 100% pure product that needs to be toned out and made off and unreliable, it is research after all. I had a batch one time that produced nothing but negative effects and one of my first thoughts was caffeine but actually it was just a percent or two off in purity and this can become an easy chore to understand when it comes to MXE
 
from what i can tell, it is definitely 30% caffeine, not just people guessing based on idiosyncratic reactions. don't want to get too far into vendor discussion, but yeah -- seems to definitely be a 70%/30% cut that is going around.
 
Is it a pale white dry looking powder with a thick fluff to it? Was like one I had but this one even smelt like it was caffeine cut, just made me a bit curious if it might have been a similar pale fluff compound

My 70/30 mxe needs to hurry up and get here so I can throw it in some acetone and make it 100%.

A vendor said all the labs he contacted said they were no longer going to produce it due to the risk. Like, bummer, man..
 
Looks like I'll be getting a few grams of some MXE from before the recent drought soon... I'm excited, because I've missed it as an adjunct to psychedelics. I think it's the very best thing I've ever used to combine with tryptamines in particular, at the right dose it makes the whole thing more immersive and comfortable, and adds its own psychedelic aspects as well. I'm really looking forward to some more of those combinations. :) I have some DPT that I intend to IM, but I wanted to wait until I had either ketamine or MXE to add to it. I think MXE will do nicely, it has for every other psychedelic I've mixed it with (not just tryptamines).

I don't really care to take it on its own anymore, so even sharing with my friends it should last a very long time. :)
 
I hope someone steps up the the plate to keep the supply flowing.. I still love taking it on its own. It's just such a special compound in my opinion, I don't want to see it disappear forever, seems crazy. Ketamine is cool but it doesn't give me the manic motivation from MXE I love so much.
 
I also prefer MXE to ketamine. I can't imagine it will disappear forever because it's just as good as any of the "big drugs" (better than most) and lots of people want it... demand is high. I'm surprised no one has done it yet, but I'm sure it will happen.
 
Sean, yes an acetone wash will work exactly the same as for coke/mdma as mxe.

Xorkoth, i agree mxe combines beautifully with psychs. It helps to calm everything down and allow me to immerse more fully in the moment. I honestly dont even like tripping without mxe at this point :-(

Ketamine has its place, but i wouod take a lifetime supply of mxd before ketamine anyday
