Wellbutrin/ DOC

I'm on wellbutrin 300mgs a day- I've heard mixed reports on how it affects Psychedelics. Any advice on how long I should wait after stopping the wellbutrin (if possible) before dropping the DOC. Also, I'm currently going through opiate w/d (lightly at this point, but from suboxone-it's taking forever) I'd hate having the DOC just sitting there and would prefer it to be the only substance in my sytem at the time. Due to receptor/metabolic rebound during the opiate w/d I'm not sure how that would interfere with the DOC experience...... any advice appreciated....
 
mix dxm with valium ?

is this safe, say 20 mg of valium, and 800 of dxm mixed with a bunch of weed...
 
Interaction question

Ok i got a question. Dunno if it really belongs here but i'll ask anyway cause i figure i'll get the best responses here.

Ive tripped on shrooms about 100 times in the past but not since going on lamotrigine to control my bipolar disorder. I was wondering does anyone know if lamotrigine will interact with the shrooms?

Im also on clonazepam, morphine and gabapentin but im pretty sure im safe with those. Ive taken them with oxycodone before and ive taken benzo to help me sleep afterwards so i know im safe with those.

^^^ Thanks my man. I checked out that thread but couldnt find much on it. I know lithium interacts with LSD and psilocybin in a bad way but im not sure about lamotrigine. Lithium isint a anti-convulsant like lamotrigine either so they shouldnt cause the same interaction at all.

Seems i didnt look hard enough. I found one person mentioning they took 4 grams of shrooms while on zoloft, lamictal, abilify and depakote. They where fine but nothing happened which doesent surprise me because SSRI's and especially atypical anti-psychotics will pretty much kill the effects of psilocybin. I only take zyprexa or risperdal as needed and havent in weeks so i should be fine there.

I don't like going by just one report but id say i'll be fine.

I just figured this would go better here the in OD or BDD.

Yup. I'd say you're most likely to get a better response here than in OD or BDD but it's probably not such a common combo so information may well be scarce. I'd imagine that the anti-convulsant properties would be a good rather than a bad thing if anything but really don't know about the other properties and am no doctor, of course. Hope someone can help and happy shrooming :)
 
Morphine+shrooms

Just a quick question about mixing shrooms with morphine. Ive taken them with a small dose of oxycodone (about 15mg's of oxy IR) but morphine is alot worse in terms of side effects. I was wondering if morphine would worsen the side effects like nausea, stomach cramps and all that.
 
tegretol and lsd

Does anybody have any experience with this drug and lsd it is use to treat bipolar disorder but it is not an anit psychotic so i dont know if it has any negative affects to lsd like making it less strong, ext. also i take lamictal what about that?

I would say lexapro would dumb down the effects of mushrooms and LSD like pretty much all SSRI's do. I could very well be wrong about that so don't go only on my word.

Ive never taken a SSRI before but ive taken effexor (unfortunatly 8) ) and smoking cannabis while on it was no problem at all. I cant remember any significant interaction with that combo. This was about 7 years ago so my memory of that time is kinda dodgy but i was a total pothead at the time. I was on a low dose of effexor and at that point it was pretty much only doing a serotonin reuptake inhibition.
 
HELP! LSD & Psychotropic Interactions

Hi guys!

Planning on having a trip for the first time since I began taking a series of psychotropic medications for my mental condition.

If you could provide some advice on any known interactions with - Seroquel (Quetiapine) - Lithium (Lithium Carbonate) - Epilim (Sodium Valporate) - Ritalin (Methylphenidate).

OK thanks for the info. I don't think I'll combine LSD or mushrooms with the Lex but if I were to do anything I'd smoke some bud like a hit, and see how that is.

A friend of mine was on Effexor and we ate shrooms and I remember tripping on them complete with visuals and everything and he did not really get anything at all maybe just the body high and not much else we'd spit an 8th and later smoked some herb too.

I took LSD while on Prozac and the prozac had zero effect on it at all and I still tripped very hard on it and even had a spiritual experience.
 
Psilocybin medicine interactions questions...

Hi all, I used to post and lurk a whole lot many years ago but long ago forgot login details. But, I still hope this is the correct subforum, many apologies if not and I did search a lot before posting :)
Right now I take Lamictal everyday for bipolar type 2. I've heard that lamictal and psychedelics don't have bad reactions towards each other, but wanted to reach out and ask others.
Also, I'm on the 4th day of a 5 day prednisone treatment for some nasty bronchitis I've had. Also taking zithromax and advair for that, and albuterol as needed. Finally, I have a klonopin prescription as well that is more of an as needed thing.
Does anyone know if I were to eat mushrooms tomorrow, if I'd have any concerns with interactions between these? Can anyone share their own experience, or point me to articles or posts relevant to this?

Lamictal shouldnt have any bad interactions with mushrooms.
Neither should advair, zithromax, albuterol or prednisone.

The only thing i would recomend is waiting till you get over being sick before tripping. Tripping with bronchitis can become uncomfortable and steer the trip in a bad direction. I guess the klonpin would come in handy in that case.

I also suggest waiting until you recover from bronchitis.
 
Using Zofran to combat psych nausea (2c-i)

Does anyone know if this will work and/or if it's safe? It is an anti-nausea drug prescribed for chemo patients. I know it works on the serotonin 5-HT3 receptors. I want to try it specifically with 2C-I or maybe 2C-E tonight but I just wanna make sure there isn't any potential for side effects because it works on serotonin receptors.
 
Yep!! It is great! I am the person he referenced. I still use it, in fact i used it last week for mescaline again. I still believe that it may make the trip mildly more visual. But YMMV . Check it out for yourself!! It certainly kills all nausea.

Also. a small amount goes a long way. 2mg should be fine, taken when you ingest the drug or when it starts coming up (not familiar with 2C compounds so i dont know when you should take it exactly). But there is no real upper limit with this drug. It hasnt been shown to really have any major side effects.
 
How does one obtain such a thing? I really hate nausea... keeps me down and paranoid Im going to OD or something sometimes... when I know im not.
