What does Ketamine feel like?
Does it feel anything like rolling?
Does it feel anything like rolling?
Need to let your tolerance drop then, I'm afraid
I was IVing 500mg (not in one pin, obviously) a go at regular intervals for a while last year and not blacking out. Still got the rush but the actual duration of the trip was short as hell (even by IV K standards) and not all that intense either.
Took a break of at least 6 months and can now hole again nasally at reasonable doses, not so easy holing with IM doses still (bizarrely) and only tried IV a coupla times with barely any effect. Odd that snorting works again but it seems to. Breaks are useful... if also disappointingly necessary.
Of course, behavior therapy is very important for any sort of medicating.
though I will say, I don't see how 35mg every 2-3 days would be problematic, let alone everyday. Even when taking Zn, or Mg supplements you will be antagonize your NMDA receptors, and its been shown to have a positive effect on memory and mood. There really hasn't been anything shown to say small doses of ketamine once daily would have an adverse effect on the kidneys, or any other organ, let alone the nervous system. It is potentially beneficial for nervous system functioning and general well being.
My nose might be casualty in the long run, though I've never tried to take it daily at such a low dose.
I don't have motion sickness, either, but I still used to get nauseated on ketamine (I've seemingly grown out of it now). Though you may very well be correct that ketamine nausea has nothing to do with motion sickness-like phenomena (in other words, it could be due to our body registering ketamine as a poison that needs to be purged purely chemical detection means), the fact that you don't get motion sickness normally is not necessarily evidence against the ketamine-mediated "virutual" motion sickness proposed. Regular motion sickness has to do with non-correspondence between visual input and the sensory information we are receiving from our sense of balance, wheres the proposed virtual motion sickness's exact mechanism of action is unknown, though it is proposed to be mediated through a similar, but not exactly the same, non-correspondence of sensory signals.I have puked after snorting ketamine a few times. One night I puked thrice, I think. Even IMing it for the first few times made me nauseous. But I do not have motion sickness in the least, so I discredit that theory, at least for me.
