I am interested in trying aMT again, It's one of the weirder drugs I've done. I'm a complete hallucinogenic newbie, this was my first.
As I said in a previous post, I had 40mg in total. Despite having a somewhat full stomach I felt no nausea, and felt almost entirely sober with a slight mood lift when I opened my eyes and focused on something. I didn't get any of the euphoria and jaw clenching that a substance such as 6-apb would cause.
Once it got into swing though, I had to lie in bed with my eyes closed and felt almost paralyzed there - not in a bad way, mind you. Listening to music was fun at first, especially due to the INTENSE closed eye visuals. It was like having a music visualizer built into my eyes. I've never experienced vivid closed eye visuals, so that was exciting for me.
Music became boring though, it was difficult following the beat and got to the point of giving me a headache.
This is when I opened my eyes and saw the walls around me "melting", moving around like they were liquid with waves. Me, being a hallucinogenic newbie, was mesmerized by that. It seemed so real that I was compelled to exam it from various angles, to try and get an idea of where exactly in my mind the distortion is coming from. My eyes would tend to shake rather uncomfortably every time I tried to focus on something - but I've heard that's common with drugs like this, so I let it slip.
Imo, the most interesting part of aMT for me was when I closed one eye and kept the other open but unfocused. My closed eye and unfocused eye gave me the ability to look somewhere and see figures, forms - mild hallucinations. It was a bit of fun. The texture of the wall looked very colourful at times too - typical hallucinogenic stuff.
I did get freaked out when I sat down at my PC and tried to read what was on my screen. it looked as though all the text was garbled up and words/letters were moving all over the place. My screen also looked pink and had veins through it.
Overall, I found it interesting - but it did lack euphoria, and as weird as it may sound after my above descriptions, it lacked trippiness. All it seemed to do was effect my eyesight and make it difficult to keep my eyes open.
I definitely want to give it another shot!
