A bit of tension, a bit of tooth grinding, no aching body for me.

Limited push, it's gentle that way.

But it's highly variable. My first time on 25mg I was grinding and grimacing like buggery and got a headache. My second time on 60mg the tension was mild and I did not get a headache.

I believe the salt (e.g. HCl) is more readily absorbed through the lining of the rectum, but this post suggests it's not necessary: http://www.bluelight.ru/vb/showpost.php?p=8836161&postcount=1563

aMT HCl is definitely absorbed readily from a gelcap up the bum.

^Probably not. Freebases are not water soluble. You'd probably end up swallowing most of it, where it'll be turned into aMT HCL by hydrochloric acid in your stomach. If you don't want to dose orally, your most convenient option with the freebase is to dissolve it in a small amount of vinegar (1 mL of warm 5 percent white vinegar should be more than sufficient to convert 60 mg to aMT acetate), dilute the amount by half with water to avoid stinging, and squirt the solution up your ass with an oral syringe obtained from a convenience store/pharmacy.

Freebase AMT can definitely be absorbed through a gelcap in the rectum... I've used it this way more than any other way. It's a little slower but it works just fine, slower can be good.

I have just got hold of some of this intriguing substance and have a couple of questions for the people who have a fair bit of experience with it. This one is new to me and if I'm honest I am a bit of a pussy when it comes to psyches but I am drawn to it for the reported MDMA like qualities some have reported and less into a balls out full scale trip. I am hoping it turns out to be a good festival all day type drug for the summer ahead. Anyway - questions:

There seems to be no consensus on a starting dose really - I want to try the drug at threshold level and get some indication of what it's like but not go mental from the off what would peoples recommendation be in terms of amount and ROA for a total novice?

Given my aforementioned psyche pussy status I would prefer to have an 'out' or abort option as some on here referr to it. What benzos if any can people suggest to have on hand for this purpose? Are there any that people would advise against?

Thanks. I read that normally the first effects can be felt in about an hour if plugging hcl. How much longer does it take with freebase? Cheers.

For some treshold effects it's anywhere from 5-20 mg's orally. I'd start with 10-15 mg's orally maybe, to get a feel for it. For a benzo, I'd say xanax.
 
Can you snort freebase AMT or just the HCL version or both?

I've snorted it before and it was much easier to find a nice plateau. Kicked in pretty fast as well but then again I was on LSD.

I tried AMT freebase for the first time last Saturday an was very surprised with the effects.
I Took 20mg dissolved in alcohol. It didn't seem very phyce at this dose but felt very MDMA like as others have mentioned. I had a headache and gurning after the peak but nothing major.

Going to try 40mg next week and see how it goes. Do the negative effects seem to be reduced at higher doses? because from what I have read some say they do.

Yeah, many people are inclined to say that it seems. I haven't experienced it myself though. My highest dose was 55 mg's orally (freebase) and the side-effects were increased, same at 45 mg's, especially regarding the headaches. I always stayed between 25-35 mg's, that was my sweet spot.
 
AMT is highly variable in its effects on different people. Some get strong, full-on effects at 25-30mg, while others (like myself) don't hit full effects until 40 or 50. It's always best to start low and work your way up, though with AMT if you dose too low it's just kind of weird feeling. But I think a 25mg dose is good to start, after an allergy test dose of like 1-2mg of course.

Hmm, freebase in a gel cap takes about 30-40 minutes to start for me rectally... HCL in liquid takes only like 15 minutes to start (still almost 2 hours to reach a peak). My metabolism is pretty fast, but an hour for plugged HCL seems high to me.
 
I've been taking aMT pretty much every weekend since June and while it's been great and always very euphoric, I never ever got any visual element to it.

I'm happy to now say though that at the weekend I had my first experience of visuals from aMT. :D

The dose was the same as always (50mg) and the batch was the same one i've had for months, but the difference was that i've been taking 3.5g Piracetam a day for the last 2 weeks (upped from just the 1g/day that i've been taking for the last 2 months). The overall strength of the 50mg aMT was also increased so it appears that Piracetam is a potentiator of aMT.

Happy days. :)
 
After using amt on a handful of occasions I have noted upto 6 weeks of very vivid dreams which have been accompanied by a very good quality of sleep.

A welcome change as I am not usually a very deep sleeper.

Has anyone else noted their dreams becoming very vivid after amt use?

I had my first proper visuals from aMT after combining it with piracetam and not sleeping for two days. When I was trying to sleep I saw rabid dogs and a blue elf-looking thing trying to attack me out of the patterns in a chair. It was awesome. =D
 
I'm confused, I could have sworn aMT was what caused my experience last saturday but from this thread it seems noway.

I took orally 50mg twice over a few days, can't remember what the first did or what I had in my system from mxe, dxm, 4 meo pcp and phenazepam.

The 2nd 50mg dose I thought I remembered very well but nothing in this thread is similar. Is there ANY chance aMT could mentally take you to a different world you percieve as real? The other world experience lasted just an evening/night but felt like living a different life for months or years, it had a plot like a film there were always people around and I didn't recognise my own flat anymore. Physically all I did was sit or lay there or try to use my phone or games consoles. The world gradually disappeared early Sunday morning, one of my ferrets escaped and I realised he wasn't part of it. My brain and body didn't recover till Wednesday morning. Tuesday night I still felt like I was tripping when I closed my eyes and my brain tasted of lime.

I had also plugged over 400mg 4 meo pcp and orally taken over 200mg DXM all around the same time ish. There might have been some MXE left in my system or I could have taken the small amount left the next day.

I'm stumped now, I thought I was certain. Unless I take the entire lot again.

It sounds like the DXM/4-MEO-PCP that made you like that. aMT doesn't cause dissociation.
 
Sorry to derail the thread but after reading a DXM thread it sounds more likely, it wasn't much DXM tho so do you think that and 4 meo pcp poteniate each other.

I'll try aMT on its own next time, I was on a bit of a "fuck it binge" last week.

Good idea.

Why are you are taking drugs like aMT, DXM and 4-meo-pcp all at the same time without knowing what their individual effects are on you first?

I know with drugs that powerful i'd be doing my research first and knowing how they each effect me on their own before doing a big combo like that. It's a dangerous thing to do considering you clearly didn't know how each drug was going to effect you.
 
400mg of 4-meo-pcp combined with 100mg of aMT + dxm and possibly methoxetamine? No wonder you tripped hard. :)

400mg is a massive dose of 4-meo-pcp - that alone is enough to send you far away. At least you made it okay. Just remember to be careful when combining massive doses of powerful mind altering drugs. :)
