Small doses for me are like a nice little mood lift that lasts all day, not rushy or euphoric as such, it's like an extra spring in your step and a smiley attitude to life and everyone in it. Sorry I can't explain it any better but once you try it I'm sure you'll get what I'm trying to say. Enjoy :)

I found that I was alternating between being restless and wanting to move around and do stuff and just lying around (though I didn't really feel lethargic at all). I noticed that I was talking really quickly and made loads of rapid movements while experiencing quite a bit of time dilation, is this normal?

I wanted to say that apart from the jaw clenching I did find it an overall enjoyable experience, my last post sounds more negative than intended.
Have ordered more :) and can't wait to try it on a better day (my last setting was rubbish).

Oh and with eating I found I couldn't really eat or drink anything (apart from water) until right at the end.

PS it sounds like I am getting something completely different from all of you lol.

It is not particularly stimulating - more lethargic and sedating in fact at any dose

just checked my reports on this substance - I could barely be bothered to move on it; low doses <40mg it was a lazy gone kinda of feeling; high doses massive visuals but you are pretty well "cabbaged"; I haven't noted jaw clench but wouldn't be surprised at high dose; the nystagmus was stupid

Sorry, a moderating hiccup meant this was merged with a post in another thread!

thanks for the advice and experience info. i think im going to get along with this nicely. it does sound like many people prefer a combo but im going solo first time around at least. only thing ive got for comboing is mdpv anyway, and i really dont know how that would fit in with something like amt.

Unless you know your chemistry, comboing is risky. Besides, AMT is just great by itself. And for your first time, it is best to get an unadulterated taste for this alone, I think.

^This.

The only thing you should combo with aMT is weed, infact, it's pretty much essential to avoid the nausea IME.

Good idea.
Also, I found that GHB/GBL works so sweetly with any trip I've had, but now it is illegal, I cannot try it with AMT, which is a fairly new thing for me, which I did have during my years of daily GBL drinking :(

Just wanted to say that the second time I took aMT with a higher dose was indeed amazing! Definitely on my favourite list now :)

yesterday I had 15mg IR aMT ("social dose") and got my hands on a 2c-B pill (untested but quality source - dose probably ~20mg) at t+3. I shared half of one (sublingual) with my buddy who took a whole one before and was unsatisfied. after 15min it got quite challenging for at least an hour or so. it took me more than 2h and some weed to finally cope with the STRONG bodyload. limbo between "I wanna be at home and chill and not move at all" and "I wanna socialize and dance". did the latter and it was quite enjoyable - very, very enjoyable at times...very "emotionally-analytic" too.
~14h before sleep was possible...
surprisingly strong experience given the low dose of both compounds. (daily piracetam regimen might be a factor though)

I'm going to be dosing around 30mg (amt) this friday, i was plannning on either doing some 4acodmt half way through the trip or maybe a lil 2CE around the +5 hour mark. But what i think would be the more intresting combo is DOC probably around 2mg.

Would DOC and AMT combined be to much ? i love each chemical on there own but dont really fancy mixing to long lasting drugs if im going to have a 24 hour + trip.
Maybe 20mg of amt and 2mg of DOC is more reasonable, Also i can imagine vascular constriction could be an issue here ??
Has anyone here tried this combo that could shed some light on it for me regarding safety? duration? body load, etc.....

Many thanks

You should definitely keep the dose low - less than half a dose of each because they will potentiate each other. The same goes for most combinations.

I've read that aMT is more like LSD than MDMA. Is this true? I've never had amt but am interested.

For me it's more like mdma the first 4 hours (of course not as intense), after that the psychedelic aspect slowly takes over.

For me, the LSD comparison is quite fair, but it is nothing like MDMA for me, nor is it stimulating.

I'd agree with the last part, I was rather surprised by how aMT felt after having heard it described so many times as stimulating. On the contrary it was very sedating and relaxing.

Yes it was stimulating in the simple sense that my heart rate and BP were elevated and that I was able to stay awake for the entire 16 hours without problems, but a lot of the time during my aMT trips I feel very sleepy rather than up or stimulated. aMT isn't very dopaminergic so this isn't really surprising, compounds that are mostly serotonergic tend to be a bit sedating like this (take MDAI for an example).

Being primarily psychedelic in action yes aMT has more in common with LSD than with MDMA really, but there are strong similarities to both, and it's also very dose dependant. At lower doses aMT is much more similar to MDMA, while at higher doses the empathy, enhanced tactile sensations etc get overwhelmed by the trip itself. Medium doses display both characteristics but are still predominantly, in my experience, a trip, rather than a "roll" like MDMA and similar compounds.

Your chosen ROA also factors into things, I found vaporising aMT for example to be more plain euphoric and "rushy" like MDMA and related drugs, and it was easier to get these effects without delving into full on psychedelia.

One thing I'll say though, don't expect either LSD or MDMA, aMT is a whole beast of its own, and an incredibly intriguing and magical one if you keep an open mind about what to expect. Try not to muddy the experience by what you *think* it's going to be like. :)

True - there is some empathogenic quality... And it is truly it's own spectacular beast.

but it is nothing like MDMA for me, nor is it stimulating.

That's interesting. For me it's like the guy above said - 4hrs of effects very similar to MDMA (if anything, more intense rushing) then it levels off and becomes feverishly trippy.

It's interesting all these differences in opinion with regard to the effects of aMT. I love this stuff because how it varies from use to use. On one occasion it can be very euphoric and stimulating with very little of the visual side, another time it can be very visual with less of the euphoric rushy element. Other times it can be both (those times are the best). Sometimes it makes me want to get up and move around / dance, chat with folk and be loved up towards my fellow man and on other occasion it can make me not want to leave my chair and be a bit 'mongy' as I've heard it referred to as. I'm very rarely sick or nauseous on the come-up but recently (age thing?) I have vomited and been practically crippled by shakes and nausea before it levels out. It really does vary (for me anyway) from use to use.

Note there's the usual subjective factors of things like serotonin depletion & cross-tolerance. I get more MDMA-like effects the longer I've had breaks.

Decided to stop lurking and become an active bluelight member tonight, so just sharing some perhaps novel aMT info. Last easter I was with a friend, and he asked me if I'd like to try some 6-APB that evening, which I accepted. He weighed out two bombs of about 100mg+, took one and gave the other to me. LITERALLY as I swallowed my bomb, friend exclaims "FUCK!"...turns out he'd got his stash of 6 APB confused with his stash of aMT, and we'd both just taken well above the upper end of a 'heavy' dose as perscribed by erowid. WHOOPS!

Turns out this 'light' psychedelic can get rather heavily visual at high doses. During the peak (which took about 4 or 5 hours to reach!) I was experiencing very fast, 3 dimensional CEV's which I can only compare to DMT, the only tryptamine I have much experience with. Open eyed visuals were also very pronounced, with fully formed 3D hallucinations of faces appearing on the walls. When we ventured outside (was dark out), I struggled to tell if I was looking at a group of people in the distance or the pavement! We managed to get lost and hit a dead end, even though we have both lived in this town all our lives, due to the cognitive confusion and visual distortions. At around 6 or 7 hours in, we shared a small joint. This sent me from a blissful euphoria into strong anxiety and confusion, this being one of only two bad trips I have ever experienced in 2 years of frequent trippig. I experienced a state that wasn't ego death, but strong ego dissolution, in which I completely phased out from where I was and suddenly found myself lost in a hallucinatory world when I came to. My friend kept suggesting that we lie down on the couches upstairs for a change of setting, but at this point I was almost paralised with fear, and just sat there unable to speak or move or even think.

Eventually the fear subsided, but by this point (8 hours in) I was tired and ready for the experience to end. No such luck! I lay there watching the world transform every few seconds for another few hours before braving the journey home to bed. Obviously sleep was impossible, and I lay in an annoying state of residual stimulation and flowing visuals for a good few hours before nodding up. When I got up for a dentist appointment the next day, a full 17 hours after dosing, my pupils were still fully dilated and I still had the residual feelings of being on something, but finally the trip had stopped. I felt out of sorts for the rest of the day, but considering the dose I had and the lack of sleep, I was OK.

All in all, I am grateful for the experience as I will probably never intentionally dose that high again and despite the anxiety I felt after smoking weed, and the ridiculous duration, the initial hours of the peak were amongst my favourite tripping moments of all time- such great euphoric bliss, music appreciation and beautiful flowing visuals!

Also worth noting, I felt no nausea whatsoever during the experience, but my tripping buddy vomited during the onset (then felt fine afterwards).

Just thought I'd share that anecdote as not many people seem to dose as high as this. I certainly wouldn't recommend this to anyone, but based on this one experience I've had with the drug, I would say that high doses are worth exploring, although not too high! Perhaps 70mg would provide a similarly blissful state with less unwanted side effects!
