Xorkoth, Theres some but yeah Im totally aware of phens being more notorious. But here are some links. I spend a lot of time reading trip reports when im bored...even stumbled across some of yours

but yeah theres several obcure tryptamines that have caused many problems. comas brain damage and death even. Im sufre Ive seen more

AMT

Also when reading the experience reports section scroll down to the "health problems" sections and you may find other hospitalizations that are anecdotal. I also see a lot of people reporting kidney issues with a lot of the tryptamines. My point is its not all bubble gum and lolly pops .
---------------------------------
As far as I can see (been scanning through erowid), there are VERY few deaths attributed DIRECTLY to tryptamines, and every single one that I can find is describing a huge dose compared to a normal dose or a combination of drugs as was the case with AMT/MDMA.
The dalt death you posted here is some dude who took 350 mg and then grinned as he walked into a street before being hit by a car. Yeah theres about a 1000 LSD deaths then, 999 more than 5-meodalt, which would make 5meodalt wayyyy safer.
I found one 5meoDIPT death as well, but again were talking dosages 10x that of what is normal.

Besides what we have listed here, I can't find ANY other tryptamine deaths. I'm not saying that these chemicals aren't dangerous, they are, and we all know that. We know theyre not candy and lollypops. If you ever thought that before, you shouldn't be taking them. I just get irritated when I see someone spout "MANY tryptamines that can even kill or hospitalize" and then fail to come up with more than 2 examples (AMT/5-MeO-AMT) out of 100's of different known tryptamines.
I really appreciate your eagerness to contribute to discussions but i'm not cool with people blanketing entire classes of drug families with over generalized statements and then failing to provide more than a smidge of evidence that agrees with you.
As far as the relative safety of AL-LAD or newer novel lysergamides, we just don't really know yet. Everyone has been assuming that they share the safety profile of LSD, based on similar structures + the actual feelings of the experience (feels clean, safe) + no one has died. That said, LSD and analogues are related to extremely toxic ergot compounds, so I'm not going to be surprised if we eventually find something toxic. I've never posted about it, but I know several people with +1500mcg AL-LAD trips, all of them enjoyed their experiences but most experienced side effects (constriction, neck/shoulder/muscle tightness, kidney pain even but that kid has pre-existing issues so its hard to say) to some extent at these doses and none of these people want to take massive doses anymore.
