The Big & Dandy 6-APB Thread (Part 5)

That's interesting Si. I've only done so very low a dose the once, ~30mg maybe when a package arrived at work in the morning post was burning a hole in my pocket! Had a little general mood lift, very, very slight increase in energy, but with a little blurring of focus though. No visual effects whatsoever but this was 6-APB only, get precious little even at high doses. The 5/6 combo is a tad more visual, there's a good synergy there greater than the sum of its parts with them clearly but still very subtle: the vaguest hints of tints / colour washes inclining towards a soft, rosy pink glow to things and a softening of edges, a kind of vibrational intensity to things and occasionally a little patterning and increased definition in textures that allow for it. Phosphene patterns with eyes closed are perhaps more apparent but still just phosphenes.
 
... again, interesting. I love MDMA & I'm sure I've had MDA dressed as Estacy in the past so because there isn't an awful lot of info's about the apb's around the internest, despite the apparent widespread use, I've been reading up on the effects of MDA instead. I'm hoping that the similarity in structure that both the apb's share wth MDA coupled with correct dosage & combination balance of 5-apb & 6-apb I might replicate some or all of these effects. I am of course looking for the lowest possible dose to find a comfortable place that doesn't last too long or bring about some awful, endless come-down. My sero-system hasn't been worked too hard over recent months so I'll be warming up the apb's again soon & I shall report back.
 
It's close to MDA I think but not quite. My experience of MDA was with snowball Es doing the rounds early 90s, reckoned to be about 200mg+ MDA. Feeling of the 5/6-APB combo is somewhat similar though I believe MDA still had the more push. It was decent raving material in a club with enough energy. Saw The Orb support Primal Scream on them, I will leave you to guess at the euphoria produced rocking along to that! =D

Taken at home very mongy, very spacey and very, very trippy. Much, much trippier than 200mg+ of the APB combo. Like faces melting / changing into someone else right in front of your eyes, pretty strongly defined CEVs somewhat LSD-like as far as neon-luminescent colours, fractal-like patterning, 3-dimensionality goes though not the same, and less intense, much stronger OEVs no question. MDA comedown harder too cos it was up and down faster, 6 hours maybe tops compared to the 8-10 I get with the APBs. APBs a damn sight cheaper though than the ridiculous price MDA is alleged to be fetching these days for a gram. 8o
 
I can concur with the stronger APB findings, as I dropped a 60mg 6APB/50mg 5 APB pellet recently, and was absolutely flying compared to the same dose of APB that was taken a few months prior. Ended up with me sitting on the toilet at 3am, gurning my face off and smiling to myself.
 
my girlfriend and i love this stuff. just around 90 mg of material and you get a nice, long-lasting (~2 hour come-up, 6-8 hour peak, 8-12 hour come-down; easy to sleep thru with just a bit of etizolam or xanax), euphoric, mildly psychedelic experience with no desire to re-dose and no crash the next day. a perfect compound for those of us who enjoyed mdma and mda in our "youth" but prefer something with a bit milder touch (albeit, a bit more of a psychedelic than an empathogen) in our "old age"!! in our opinion, this is the cream of the crop of contemporary research chemicals (though we haven't yet tried 5-apb, or combinations of the two). we've bioassayed samples from a couple of different vendors recently, and the quality of product has been great. highly recommended!! for optimum use of material, i'd suggest once a month dosing at the maximum; a trip after only two weeks off didn't quite have the same intensity of effects.
 
@Sepher: I can't really say I'm sure. For my experience to be so much stronger than my prior 250mg experience, with me having consumed far less, I'm not sure the 38% improved potency figure would be accurate. Then again, it's not far out, and the disparity could be due to differences in purity on top of the different salt formulation.

On a good note, when I finished the bag, I assumed I put it in my pocket, but later couldn't find it, only to be handed an almost 6-APB bag by the guy who gave me it.. But I later found another one in my pocket, so seems like they were different bags, and if this one also has 70-80mg or so in it then I have at least one full dose :D
 
I find 6-APB similar to MDA, which is not surprising given the similarity in their chemical structure. What interests me though is whether we may one day see N-methyl-6-APB, which is to MDMA what 6-APB is to MDA. It seems reasonable to assume that this chemical would have effects quite similar to MDMA.
 
you're not the only one to wonder such things and the answer is yes!! there's a thread in OD about N-methylated APB compounds right now.

There is one confirmed 5-APB report at ecstasydata.org, as something pressed and sold as ecstasy. The marquis and mecke is purple (which would be similar to MDMA / MDA, purple -> black).

No confirmed 6-APB tested there yet, but I would expect 6-APB and 6-APBD to be similar.
 
What is the difference between 6apb and apdp? My all time fave tipple is a mix of 5 and 6 apb, and bought some pressed pellets that were supposed to be a 5/6 combo, but the label says its a 6apb and 6apdp mix. Might not be true, but if it is, what can I expect? Any different from 6apb alone?

Yes! With my batch of 6-APB, I was completely faced from 100mg. I'm talking crazy eye wiggles that made it hard to see anything, jaw grinding, incredible euphoria... And the come-down was pretty easy, with virtually no hangover the next day. The friends I did it with were visibly rolling balls, they loved it. This is the good stuff!

This stuff is pretty white and fluffy with a flour-like consistency.
 
the chemical you are thinking of is probably 6-APDB, it's a less saturated variant on 6-APB (with perhaps somewhat fuzzier legal status in the USA), if you type the two into wikipedia you can see the difference in structure. i've never tried APDB, no clue on the dosage level, but i'd expect the effects to be fairly similar to 6-APB.
 
My experience with this substance so far has consisted of near weekly doses of 150mg bombed, followed by two 100mg doses administered rectally, with each dose spaced 6 hours apart. Spaced through the night I insufflate the odd micro-line of mdma totalling 60mg for the night.

I notice no degradation of effect between redoses and find each dose builds up to a wonderful psychedelic experience lasting 24 hours or so.

I am also noticing no severe comedown, nor diminished effects from the weekly experiments. I took a week off recently to see if there would be any stacked comedown but found there was none.

This compound seems too good to be true. No tolerance between redoses, or none that I can detect, no comedown, and seemingly repeatable on a weekly basis. Bit too good perhaps, considering a forced break for a few weeks to see if there is any sinister side effects.
 
Wow, it's astounding you had so much 6APB without feeling wiped out for a few days or depressed. But maybe that's just me.

I do agree, though, that you can keep taking it and it will prolong or build the trip.
 
that's interesting, i found it to be completely the opposite for me, fairly pointless to re-dose - better to just load up a little heavier dose up front - and i definitely need > 2 weeks to feel the full magic of it again following a night of use. also, i find dosing more than 120-150 mg in a single session to mostly be chasing diminishing returns. beyond that point, you're taking double the quantity of chemical for 10% more effects... really, 90 mg in a single session for me (~140-160 lbs male) is a good, solid trip while making conservative use of my material stock.
 
I also find redosing to be pointless. 7 day break minimum is required for me to feel effects the next time. 200mg is far superior to 150mg, I can say that for sure! I have no desire to go higher.
 
I find redosing works great with 6-apb. I'll dose 150mg orally then another 150mg orally about 4 hours later with no diminished effects.

I do get a pretty sinister come down though. I'm tired, my whole body aches, and GI distress is an understatement. The day after even one dose, I'm useless. Its about the same as an mdma come down, but with mad diarrhea. It lacks the suicide Tuesdays though, which is nice.

I guess your mileage may vary. Be extra careful using this compound too often! It could be destroying your brain! 8o
