Tryptamines The Big & Dandy 5-MeO-DiPT Thread

I'd really hate to have to start another 5-meo-dipt thread, so i'll just add on.
If anyone does have a link for plugging 5-meo-dipt, let me know. Email me if you like, a personal experiance, anything. I can't find crap about this.
peace

5-MeO-DiPT via IM?

"A couple of people I know" are going to be trying 5-MeO-DiPT for the first time soon. One of those people will be using a gelcap, and taking it orally. The dose is not decided yet, but they will be ingesting somewhere between 6 - 12 mg.
The other friend is concerned about nausea. He/She doesn't want to rail it for fear that the drip will make them nauseuous, and IV is out of the question as well.
Is it possible to inject it IM? Will this help to alleviate the nausea and upset stomach? What would be the risks involved? This is that persons favorite way to enjoy K, so they're curious about the 5-MeO-DiPT using this method as well.
I don't really think it's a good idea, and I told them that, but I'm asking a wider, more experienced crowd for a more informed opinion.
Thanks,
Mike

*bump*
Somebody has to have at least an opinion on this. I see via Erowid that DPT can be done via IM if it is dissolved into solution, so this leads me to believe that it's possible as well for 5-MeO-DiPT.
Other trips reported here about 5-MeO-DiPT via IV state that it eliminates (or at least greatly reduces) the nausea and body load. Would it be safe to say the same would be true via IM??
Mike

5-meo-dipt makes you nautious, the average person can take 9mg and not get sick, just a lil nautious maybe. 18mg is the max you should ever take, but you will def barf violently, but then again you will trip about 18 hrs. its up to you, is it work getting sick to trip long and hard?
i'm quite happy with 9mg and at an amuesment park
any more questions hit my e-mail [email protected]

Not everyone gets sick from 5-meo-dipt. Even at 50 mg oraly I only had minor stomache pangs like i ate alot of spicy food. In faact, i've never once puked from any RCs or shrooms. But I puke very easily when I drink so I guess it evens out.

Well..I'm with ya. If I do more than about 10mg...I get really sick to my stomach. My wife on the other hand is always up around 20mg, and has never once complained of even slight nausea or feeling a "body load" from it. Lucky her!! It's definitely different for every single person in my experience.
But trip for 18 hours? You must be reallly sensitive. We both trip for 6, maybe 7 hours tops on it. I don't think I'd WANT to trip for that long. :)

Injecting experimental psychedelic drugs of uncertain purity seems like a pretty dumb idea to me. Can it be done? Sure. Should it? Probably not.

Just to clear the air, the nausea doesn't come from the physical drug's corrosiveness on the stomach lining like you may think, rather it's receptors in the stomach being activated and giving a nauseas feeling.

mmhh, dipropyl tryptamine is awesome!!! if possible, steer away from the dipt and step into the full on tryptamine!!!!
the all powerful DPT~~!!!!

And eating an unresearched chemical is what??

Some people say its stupid to inject R.C.'s. Some people say its stupid to take R.C.'s. Some people say its stupid to take drugs. No matter what you would be attempting to do someone is going to say its a bad idea.

Murple, Ive always thought of you as the ambasedor of R.C.s to the public. But to see you go against Injection as a method of adminstration of R.Cs is almost an act of betrayl. I would much rather Inject a Research Chem, of KNOWN purity then Street drugs such as Smack or Coke, of Unkown purity.

Concern over 5-Meo-Dipt

About three weeks ago I obtained some 5-MeO-Dipt and promptly took 6mg in a gel cap. It was okay at home. The next night we took another 8mg at a club. That was intense and fun. After about four hours it started to wear off and we decided to take another 8mg. Big mistake. This literally terrified me. I totally underestimated this substance. I was hoping it would be similar to Molly...Wrong! A few days later I tried 4mg and was again humbled and freightened. I have simply decided this substance is not for me. But it's been about 14 days and I'm still not "right". I haven't forgotten my name or anything, but I have mild panic attacks and just don't feel like myself. Anyone who is considering RC PLEASE done not under estimate these things. I'm an MDMA man, but this was something altogether different...

It takes a big person to admit that they got their ass kicked by a drug. Right on man. I wept like a little bitch when i over-did it on 5MEO-DMT.
Let this be a lesson to everybody who thinks ordering RCs, especially if you havent done a lot of reading, is a good idea.

> I was hoping it would be similar to Molly...Wrong!
Ugh... I really wish idiots would stop trying to compare 5-MeO-DIPT to MDMA. They've got very little in common. I don't know if this rumor got started by dumb ravers that can't tell MDMA from airplane glue, or if some people are deliberately spreading this idea to create a market for it, but whatever the origin, it's a pretty stupid thing to be saying. 5-MeO-DIPT is a tryptamine psychedelic, if its going to be compared to anything, it should be LSD or psilocybin. Telling people its similar to MDMA is dangerous misinformation. It got Bytor into a bad situation, and I'm sure it's caused similar nasty surprises for other people.
5-MeO-DIPT is an LSD-like psychedelic, and even if it is often relatively mild, it is still a tryptamine psychedelic that needs to be treated with the respect that class of drugs deserves. It can certainly cause bad trips, especially if the person taking it is expecting something like MDMA. Also, it is a highly experimental drug and carries all the risks that any experimental drug use involves. If you are telling someone about 5-MeO-DIPT, please do not spread bullshit about it being like MDMA, do not forget to mention that it is an experimental substance with unknown risks. And for fuck's sake, don't use that horrible retarded name "foxy"...
Bytor - I wouldn't worry. So far, no serious problems have shown up with 5-MeO-DIPT, other than idiots spreading misinformation about it and trying to sell it as ecstasy. I doubt you've done any damage to yourself. The effects you are feeling are most likely just a little bit of mental shell-shock from having several bad experiences with it in a short period. Anxiety and other emotional trauma often happens after bad experiences with any psychedelic. It generally passes quickly, usually as soon as you stop worrying about whether or not you've caused any permanent damage.

but I have mild panic attacks and just don't feel like myself
I've seen this in a lot of inexperienced users of pyschedelics. They have a too intense experience and then carry on for a few weeks after the experience very shaken up, etc. It's called post traumatic stress disorder.

I the first world war this effect to the nervous system was called shell shock. Our stupid euphemisms of our language had changed the name of this condition to battle fatigue. Then during the war in Korea this same condition was called Operational Exhaustion. Then during the Vietnam war the name of this condition was once again changed to Post traumatic stress disorder. Just some food for thought.
