The Big & Dandy 4-HO-MET Thread - Part 2

So I went ahead and tried the 34mg I had. Now I understand why you guys were surprised I was aiming for such a high dose, I guess I was expecting something completely different when people said it was easy-going, in reality the easy-going side of it was that the whole thing was incredibly light-hearted and jovial the whole way through - but what I'd expected is for it to be almost completely mentally shallow and easy in that respect like phenethylamines, so boy was I surprised when I was greeted by a ego death, an amazing ++++, only like 30-40 minutes after dosing. 8o

Fantastic substance, and I completely can't understand how some people have described it as being shallow, the trip was easily just as deep as DMT for me. Very profound.

I think next time I'll try this at around 20mg and see what a regular trip is like since once you reach ego death the unique feel of a trip isn't really quite there and I feel that while I got so deep with my trip I missed a lot of the drugs actual nature along the way since I was just catapulted into infinity before I even managed to get a hold on where the trip was going.
 
haha! congratulations on your successful experiment :-)
a similar thing happened to me - i've added 30mg of 4-ho-met to a 50mg 5-APB / 50mg 6-ABP combo to "spice it up a bit" and ended up seeing god.

Tried to warn you. I've always pictured 4-ho-met like a playful little girl. I tried to explain it to my girlfriend while coming up one time. She said it looked pretty heavy already. I told her, "it roars in like a lion, but once its settled, you realize its just a playful kitten." Glad you enjoyed it, +4 and all! Its definitely one of my favorites. I have a soft spot for 4-sub-trypts.

First time I tried I miscalculated doses and plugged 40mg, I was peaking within 10 minutes, almost blew my head completely off. It did give me intense vomiting and fever during the peak but my fucking god was it hilarious. I didn't and still dont think any one will ever be so terrified of their approaching death and thoroughly amused simultaneously ever again.
 
4-AcO-DMT, once in the body, becomes 4-HO-DMT, psilocin - the active chemical contained in mushrooms.

4-HO-MET also becomes 4-HO-DMT?

nope, It's only AcO- which changes to HO-. There are no other conversions.

Yes, those 4-subbed Trypts are wild beasts depending on dosage. I've tried 4-HO-MET just one time @20mgs oral, which was nice, but others got me totally immersed in full-burst trips, as with 4-AcO-DMT for example. Next time i'm plugging 20mgs and see what happens ;)
 
If it wasn't for my fever etc, I would recommend pushing the dose closer to mine of 4-HO-MET however they would have been concerned about that fever if I had of been in hospital at the time. I can't wait to try 4-HO-MET again, it's my favourite psychedelic ever despite my previous experience.
 
I did notice the feverishness too, I felt like I was laying on a space heater or something a lot of the time. It was only really unpleasant on the come up though, along with some other symptoms like feeling a little nauseous and a little apprehensive about the experience.

I feel like a lot of that can be attributed to how many scary 4-AcO-DMT experiences I've had, since the similar feel on the come up made me feel a little anxious about what was the come. Once I began to peak I was greeted with a little of a similar fear too but all it took was for me to lay back and relax my body and I was soon laughing uncontrollably and sent into a blissful state of union with one and everything that seemed to last eternally - until it was over of course.
 
Super excited by this substance after hearing about from a friend of a friend on a chat room somewhere.

Got hold of some and decided to test it today.

History - MDMA, LSD, 25i, 25c, 2cb. weed, valium, DMT and probably a few other I forget.

Recent history - LSD 48 hours ago. I know the cross tolerance issues which is why I took 30mg
After reading this thread, I couldn't wait to try it.

Much much less intense than ACID or shrooms.
No body load, no mindfuck. Visuals are there but not intrusive. I did spend quite a few minutes staring at a towel whilst on the toilet earlier. (towels are a must for any hallucinogen)

After an hour, I had forgotten I had taken it, I had smoked some fairly potent widow which numbed the come up. I felt no nausea, like I said, felt nothing then the toilet/towel incident happened and I knew I was tripping.
It is so smooth and nice and calm and relaxing but it has that visual element which makes it awesome.

I am never good with CEV's, only seem to get proper deep ones with DMT and high dose 25c. Not much to report here.
It has been 2.5 hours since I dosed and I am still tripping to nice music and enjoying this feeling.

EDIT: Just realise I am still coming up. Shits getting more intense every minute. :)
Still totally in control, just visuals are so smooth and nice.

Coming down, still feel great. I can see this becoming very popular amongst people who want to trip but not do full blown acid/shrooms/dmt/nbome but don't want to get get "fucked up". A proper psychonaughts recreational drug. This is only my first time with this drug so it will be interesting to see how I feel about it in the days to come.

I remember with acid, all day everyday for the next week all I could think of how beautiful it was.

I seriously don't know why people keep doing this. The Shulgin scale goes from +1 to +4. "+5" is completely meaningless, unless there's some other psychedelic scale that I'm not aware of.
 
Hi, I have some 4 HO-MET, I am currently on a dose of 4mg Subutex daily (but I have not taken my dose today) I would like to try the 4 HO-MET (prob at around 15mg) but I am unsure of what to do regarding my subutex and how it will affect me in combination with the MET. Any help would be much appreciated.

I will start to feel WD Symptoms in about 8-12Hours as I usually do, if I do not take my Subutex. I do have 30mg of Oxynorm at hand which I could take to hold off the WD's but once again im not sure how this will affect my 4 HO-MET dose and experience.

There aren't any interactions you wouldn't expect from the combination, certainly nothing dangerous. It's just whatever your sub dose feels like with HO-MET on top.
 
Ok thanks a lot for your information

(im on about 24mg 4 HO-MET at the moment but not really feeling what i have...erm cant really explain myself properly but yeah i was expecting more visuals at this dose maybe i should have more....)

does topping up not work with HO MET? jus snorted another 10mg lol bit stupid maybe.

yeah jus snorted another like 12mg, s0 ur right topping up doesnt work! not for me anyway! (just extends the duration of the visuals/feeling that you currently have)
