I like to dissolve it into a drink as well. I do, however, have an unusually fast come-up time for almost all drugs and with 4-AcO I'm full-on tripping by the 20 minute mark with this method.

By the By, I haven't been on here in awhile cause my PC's been fried, but what's with this Health Canada BS? Any developments in it? I decided to restock on 4-AcO lately and, lo and behold, all my sources stopped shipment/went the way of the scammer. C'est las vie, I suppose, but would've been nice if I'd kept up on the debate and prepared for it >.<

I think the Health Canada issue is only over RC cathinones and the like. Never heard anything about 4-AcO-DMT within Canada but I am going to look into this now.

What does this mean? When i first tried 4-aco the first few times it was between 25-30mg and some of those trips put in a dmt like trance around the 30min point but a little less intense but with reptilian like visuals and stuff. Then several months later after a horrible 2-3wk valium withdraw that left me seemingly changed i dosed 21-23mg and had a very unpleasant trip which the first 2 hrs no euphoria just a extremely deep body buzz feeling then around the 3 hr point it shifted gears into a panic mode which all of a sudden felt as if something was wrong and heart rate elevated and sweating begun. This lasted for around 30min but slowly went into the usual euphoric,pleasant trip i was used to. Dont know what caused the fear of dying as if something was wrong but vitals were okay, thats what kept me from panicking more aswell as hearing my just awaking brothers voice telling me "its going to be okay". Was this egodeath or just some bad trip? Effects felt in 7min (i timed it) and visuals were amazing as usual im just wondering what this all of sudden panick,fearful feeling is all about. after that passed i couldnt stop from laughing and was brought to tears from uncontrollable laughter. Just the first 2-3hours were no euphoria and then all of a sudden "oh no something isnt right". which slowly wore off thank god. Ive had this happen on DOC twice and LSD once and 4-aco and nothing more. what could this be? thanks

Fear of dying usually happens before ego death, you'd know if you experienced ego death itself, but it's common if you didn't quite take enough to lose your ego, or didn't let go of it - for you to experience the panic anyway.

I wouldn't worry too much, I've had this countless times. However it'd be a good idea to get someone sober to measure your pulse just in case (measuring your own pulse when tripping is a bad idea, as time dilation can make it seem quicker or slower than it actually is)

Yeah i always thought it was a step under ego loss. With DOC anyway, right around the 4hr point those two times the only way i can describe it was that everything the visuals,the feeling, the whole nine felt like a jig jagged feeling which right when it hit those two times reminded me of DMT in the way it felt. I would also describe it as a stress, tension type of feeling in my head that would come in waves. Not fun just scared shitless when it appears out of nowhere but with experience ive learned everything is gonna be okay. Cant say ive experience a full blown letting go egodeath experience on anything but DMT. Fighting ego death seems to produce more of a bad trip then a letting go experience. I personally believe theres more then ego death involved in psychs. Maybe theres different kinds of ego death or just states of consciencness that feel uncomfortable when you arent used to them. More ive done psychs the more i learn to control myself in those panicking moments and enjow the trip and get more out of it. I would like to know what causes those panicking thoughts though as if something just isnt right like "oh no whats happening". Fight or flight maybe? Ive read some people experience egoloss and dont even know it? can that be true?

Which do you guys like best 4-ho-met or 4-aco-dmt? Is 4-aco-dmt stronger?

4-ho-met would generally be considered less deep than 4-aco-dmt, you'd have to dose a lot higher on it to get any kind of immersive experience (for lighthearted fun and visuals 4-ho-met is pro).

Questionable 4-aco-dmt?

I recently got some 4-aco-dmt. This 4-aco-dmt is more tan than from previous batches, which I figured wasn't a big deal, maybe just less pure.

But more importantly, it didn't fully dissolve in water. From previous experiences I was able to get it to fully dissolve within a few moments, however this new stuff had a few small solid rock type pieces I was able to break up but now there is a lot of visible particulate that floats throughout and settles at the bottom eventually. I suspect they are just solid clumps like the bigger ones, but it is mildly concerning since I feel like measuring accurate doses will be near impossible.

So a couple of questions…

1) Will letting it sit likely allow the particular to dissolve as it soaks?
2) Can I try and filter out the particulate with a coffee filter, assuming my remaining solution will just be weaker than it should be?

FYI: 250mg in 100mg of water—desperately added 20mg of alcohol to see if it would help dissolving, didn't seem to have any effect.

Try adding a drop or two of white vinegar (5% acetic acid). I haven't heard of it, but it's possible your product is incompletely salted (partly freebase)

I added a little vinegar into the solution and I thought it helped originally but I'm not sure it wasn't just being stirred up, so I'll let it sit over night.

This is some sweet solution now, 4acodmt, water, alcohol and vinegar.

4-AcO-DMT tolerance

Hey, does anyone know what the tolerance of 4-AcO-DMT is? I would think that it is very similar to mushrooms, ie. wait at least 3-5 days between trips. I only ask because I tested a very small dose (5-10mg) last night and didn't get much of an effect so I was going to up it to 20mg.

I'd wait at least a week, tolerance builds quite fast, and you need 1.5x as much or so if you trip any sooner than 7 days, meaning you'd need around 30mg instead of 20mg.

Ideally you should wait 2+ weeks between all psychedelic trips to avoid leaving yourself mentally and physically worn out for long periods of time, but if it's a once off, then 1 week would be good

Having spent alot of time using 4-Aco-DMT regularly, I think it's a good idea to wait a tleast 5-7 days in between trips in order to garner the same effect. I've had many experiences with it where I was either disappointed with the lack of results or had an entirely different (bland, not as fun) trip than if I had waited.

Seeing that you only took 5-10mg you could probably get by with waiting just a couple days imo.

When I grew my own mushrooms I would take 2g every weekend, just for recreation. I noticed no difference due to tolerance. From the small amount of 4-AcO-DMT I tried I feel as though it is a very smooth and gentle compound compared to mushrooms. A few weeks ago I took 6 grams of mostly aborts and some stems and had the most spiritual psychedelic experience so I wish to attain that at some point in the future. The week before that I took 9 grams and had the most difficult experience of my psychedelic life. I would like to have an experience, next weekend, that is somewhere near the 2-3 gram (mushroom) trip. What would be the equivalent for 4-AcO-DMT.

Also, I don't want to start another thread but I recently got my hands on 110mg of 6-APB...Does anyone have any experience with this and what is it like, there is vvery little info about the effects of this compound. Thank you.

For 6-APB, check out our Big & Dandy thread here - I tried it for the first time last night at 150mg and had an amazing time, seems like a wonderful drug, but YMMV.

20-25mg of the fumarate would be good for that, I'm not sure about HCl, but as far as I'm aware it isn't often sold as HCl, since the HCl is less stable. So yeah, 25mg might be a good one

I have grown to love 4-AcO-DMT because of the "opiat'ish", dreamy and sedating properties it has for me. It's a very deep and trancelike substance. There's just one problem. It's a bit too sedating.

I'm hypersensitive to caffeine so it's out of the question. But sometimes I would like to be a bit more "awake" while on 4-AcO-DMT, instead of just sitting and lying in (very) strange positions and yawning. Or then I just lay back. I want to keep it that way, laid backed and trancelike. But sometimes it's too sedating, I keep yawning endlessly, nod like I'm on heroin and talk like I'm drunk. A little stimulance would be nice, but I dislike stimulants and they destroy the psychedelic experience.

Does anyone have any advice what could give some stimulance to the trip while not making me clear-headed like stimulants do? I'm everything but clear-headed while on 4-AcO-DMT and it's a side I love about the substance. I want to keep it mellow, but not feel like I'm nodding on heroin.

Oh man the yawns can get pretty annoying. Not to mention it probably makes me look pretty ridiculous while walking around.

Yeah, I yawn a looot on 4-aco, during the come-up especially. But usually once I've started peaking, I'm done with that/feeling drowsy, and if anything at that point I feel stimulated.

I don't find 4-aco-DMT sedating. It's just not stimulating like almost every other psychedelic. Which is a HUGE plus in my book.

I mean LSD is great for staying up all night and into the next day, but sometimes it's nice to be able to relax during a trip and fall asleep in a reasonable time after the effects wear off.

I feel the trip like Cyanoide, I´m feeling veery identified with him, even i´m almost "fighting" to keep the eyes open, but in my case this effect is more problematic because, 4-aco-dmt is VERY DIURETIC for me, and is very annoying stand up every 10 minutes (or even less) to piss. This two effects unfornately occrus both at the same time in the last part of the trip. Its a bit frustrating because I enjoy a lot the ultra narcotic nodding effects, but the piss side effect is a big bitch
