We'll dose once we're at location then if it's gonna kick in that fast. We were hoping to get there before the dose kicked in. Not a big deal though.

You probably start feeling something in 20 minutes, so if you really want to go to the lake, take your dose after you get there.

What would you expect to happen as such a high dose?

I never took neither 4-AcO-DMT nor mushrooms, but high-dose shrooms trip is a good approximation.
If tripping so hard that you can't stand and have to lie down isn't your aim, definitely start with 20-25 mg.

As for the booster doses, they may not work well in case of (4-substituted) tryptamines. Wait for other people comments/check corresponding threads.

Light activities are usually fine. Between 15-20mg I usually get some (minor) difficulties walking. It is quite sedating though, but only if you're already in a relaxed state. I took 19mg one time at a party and I actually felt slightly stimulated for most of the trip.
 
Yea AcO can definitely be sedating, but only during the come up and peak for me. Then I arrive at a serene but lightly energetic glow plateau sort of state and love walking around and exploring.
 
So going for a walk in the park shouldn't be too difficult on 25 mg? Everyone who will be dropping has experience with shrooms and two people have experience with LSD.

I am not too worried about myself, I just want everyone to have a good time.
 
well its kinda hard to say for different people, but that might be a bit high to be in public for some. Probably a good idea to get the trip started in private, then head to the park if you all feel like it.
 
^ Agreed 100%. This is how I tend to format my experiences with this one. The come up can be overwhelming and being around people you don't know only worsens that.

Of course. We'll be starting out at our friend's apartment and if we feel like it we'll go for an expedition in the park.
 
Just weighed out 50-60mg of 4-aco-dmt for my best friend and I so we can trip out at the lake tomorrow evening. Gonna dissolve it all in a bit of water tomorrow and split it between us. Gonna dose around five or six, so we should be tripping hella good before the sun goes down around 8. Shit is gonna be orgasmic. Will likely write up a trip report since this will be my first encounter with this substance.. also have wippets and herb on deck
 
IV route - 1st experiment (I wasn't exactly looking at a watch, so these times are estimated. So take it as a sort of guideline. Those with experience might want to correct the timeframe, or I may do so myself after further experimentation).

t-0:15 Have some liquor as an anxiolytic, since I'm not really sure what to expect, also some JWH-018 as an anti-emetic.

t-0:10 Gather materials and prep the shot, ~14-18mg 4-aco-dmt drawn into syringe (not all water was used, thus the inaccuracy), I'm fairly sensitive to this compound.

t+/-0:00 Put on music, happy fun injection time

t+0:00:30 Start coming hard and fast

t+0:01 - 0:15 Peak effects, very very intense, spent the duration of this lying down on the bathroom floor, strong tremors.

t+0:15 Get a hold of myself and stand up, movement awkward and I become nauseated. Gather my materials and head over to room. CEVs brighter and more intricate than I have ever seen, OEVs colorful, complex, and cover everything. Significant spacial distorations also present, but I can make out the real world fine enough to move around and operate a computer.

t+0:20 Log onto PD social and start chatting about my experience. Effects still signficant and intense, but positive.

t+0:50 Undeniable feeling that I am not the only living presence in the room, like I'm being watched, look around everywhere but cannot determine the source. Sort of freaked out, but mostly awestruck, it sort of goes beyond simple positive/negative feeling. Entities seem curious, and I get the distinct sensation that they are laughing (with me or at me?)

t+1:05 Tripping hard now, around the level of a typical +3 oral experience, but not quite as hard as I've had from >35mg trips. I vape some more JWH-018 at this point, and spend the next hour and half watching episodes of one of my favorite television series. It seems significant, but not quite as significant as when on higher dose dissociative experiences.

t+3:00 at a +2, decide to go to bed, can't fall asleep

t+4:00 Baseline.


All in all a very worthwhile experience, and I will definitely be experimenting again with this ROA in the future. I feel as though I will be less likely to fall into bouts of negativity with this effects profile/time frame than with oral dosing. I would not attempt to go outside until the tail end of the experience (but at that point, it's mostly over anyway), and will probably stick to oral dosing for daytime/roaming around experiences. I'm rather curious as to how this would combine with dissociatives, but it would be difficult to coordinate the peaks for reasons of confusion/impaired motor coordination. Maybe if one were to IM ketamine (which I do not have access to) then immediately shoot this it would be possible?

You will be tripping in 15 minutes. Wait till first signs of sunset if you want to feel it during that. One of the quickest chems there is. What on earth made you think it takes 3 hours to kick in? It is also short so if you do it at 5 it will be over by 8. And where do you live that sun is up till 8 in late March?
 
4-AcO-DMT over in 3 hours? Bullshit. Maybe for you, but I'd say the average is definitely more within the 4-6 hour range.
 
I dropped 25mgs one time and peaked in 2 hours been too base line 15-45 mins after the peak. Then with the same batch, same dose, i didnt peak for at least 3 hours and baseline was not achieved for at least 6.

I have this feeling it has something to do with your diet and the way it gets absorbed into your body.

My friend and I each dosed 25-30mg dissolved in water on completely empty stomachs and were feeling effects within 15 minutes. Time of dose was around 6:15-20. I just checked via google, time of sunset today is like 7:45. Excuse me if I generalized and rounded up, saying sunset is "around 8." The most intense part of the trip was over by 9:20-30, at which point visuals were starting to diminish and the headspace was a lot more 'normal.' We sat around smoking the rest of our herb and finishing our box of wippets (which would kick the trip back in for a few minutes), but we were safe to drive home by 11:30.

So I'd definitely consider the trip 'over' around 3 hours, at least the most intense part.

Visuals were great, very mushroom-esque. There was the shroomy headspace and thoughts, but my feelings and thoughts were a lot more controlled. I could steer myself away from anxiety and was easily able to stop myself from thinking negative thoughts about my tripping partner. I'm more of a quiet, introspective tripper who's more into observing what's going on around me and exploring the ins and outs of my trip, while my friend almost goes into little kid mode and laughs a lot, talks a lot, ect.. At times, this would annoy me and almost send me into getting a negative headspace, but it was easy to grab hold of those thoughts and tell myself that it's not really his fault, it's just the way he handles his trip and we all handle them differently.

Overall, it was an amazing experience. It couldn't have gone better, and I can't even begin to describe the beauty of watching the sun set slowly to The Flaming Lips' Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots album.. the dose was great for a first time, and both my friend and I agree that we can do more than 25-30mg and still be okay. I felt heavily sedated throughout most of my trip, but my friend was not. I was able to get up and move around okay, and I'm actually interested in trying this at a rave.

Will definitely be experiencing this wonderful chemical again, and I'm more than glad I acquired it.

No, but to someone who has experienced the sun set, Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots and psychedelics separately but never combined them, your evocation of the combination's indescribability is quite descriptive and very enticing in itself. :) Glad you had a good time.

I'd highly recommend combining all three. I felt like the colors and serenity of the sunset matched perfectly with the album during the trip. I seriously think I couldn't have picked a better album to experience the sunset to. Never has the music moved and controlled myself and scene more elegantly.

oh and i forgot to mention, the body high was very nice, felt great.

Anyone have any information/suggestions regarding mixing this chemical with MDMA at a rave? I feel like if I took slightly less 4-aco-dmt, about 18-23mg instead of my first dose of 25-30mg, along with 200-300mg of MDMA, it'd be simply orgasmic. The combination of the controllable headspace + the insane increased appreciation for music + the euphoric body high... i don't even want to begin to think about the epicness that might ensue.

Can anyone offer any information and/or experiences? :)
 
It definitely has a very nice synergy with MDMA.. I've only tried the combination at relatively low doses of both. Not enough for a really full blown experience but enough to feel them working very nicely together, the way that mdma does with lsd or mushrooms
 
Well I tried some 4 aco DMT today (25 mg). And I have to say it is very mind blowing. Maybe it's just because I haven't tripped in over a year, but at the peak I was really far out.

Very beautiful visuals as well.

The only bad thing was that the people I was tripping with turned out to be not very chill. I've hung out with them a lot, but for some reason I felt a lot of negative energy from them. Idk, I guess I should learn to read people better.


Nevertheless, very impressive substance.

It feels good to be taking a proper psychedelic after such a long break. =D
