Phenethylamines The Big & Dandy 2C-T-7 Thread

I thought I remembered hearing that the supposed HOT-7 was actually 2C-T-2... I could be wrong on that though, it's been a long time. I do remember for sure that some batch of HOT-7 was determined not to be HOT-7 though.
 
2CT2 is one of my favorite psychs. The HOT7 that I got around 3 hours to kick in except for once where it was fairly strong 90 minutes in. I did acquire it a couple different times, but always from the same vendor. Not sure why the inconsistencies but that's a big thing to keep in mind. I got almost no visuals, and the effects were about the same strength at 55mg as 40mg.

I'll just have to try it again to get a better idea of what it really is or if it's made the conversion yet
 
Finally got around to giving this one a go at 20mg, wound up puking a fair bit more than I had anticipated. Never reached a satisfying level of visuals at that dose either, although there was one moment while I was smoking some weed for the nausea where I let my eyes relax and this led to the image in my fovea being replicated kaleidoscopically across my entire field of vision, so that was pretty cool.
Cool effect, but I'm not sure if it's worth pushing the dosage on this one for me. I had a similar reaction when testing 2C-P, all puke and not much else. Seems like 2C-T-7 is just a sulfur atom away from that one, too. Given that I've had good experiences with 2C-E, will this predict good times with 2C-T-2? Still have to get my hands on that one and find some time to try it out.
I'm wondering whether I'll be better off seeking out some 2C-T-2 or attempting a higher dose of 2C-T-7 along with some ondansetron. Any thoughts?
 
I honestly think this chemical is very unpredictable, I had really good trips from 30mg but found 27 once a bit too much, stay safe, I'd probably give it another go but give 2ct2 a thought, I really loved 2ct-21!

How did you take this? If you tried eating it, do it rectally or vaginally next time. 25 up the bum should get you good. Never eat psychedelics.
 
Once again I firmly disagree with the sentiment that one should never eat psychedelics... that's ludicrous. It's true that generally it takes more material but it's also the safest route, and for me it tends to produce the most desirable effects profile, unless it's a substance that produces a lot of bodyload. Rectal and vaginal dosing are perfectly valid routes of administration but so is oral.

heh, you got that right! 37mg the other day was about the strongest trip I have had in years...flirting with ++++ at times. 35 would have been just fine, and 30mg for a more social/museum level thing.

I was a lot more out there 15 years ago when I'd take 50mg-60mg. I suppose also a lot younger. I am not sure I'd ever take 50mg again at this point in my life but it sure was amazing! 8o

DPT mixes BEAUTIFULLY with T2 and T7. Just keep the DPT dose LOW (10mg-30mg) and it is a wonderful combo...take the DPT well after the peak of the T7.

I actually ended up taking DPT the night I tried the 2ct 7. I posted about it somewhere on here. It turned a "meh" 2ct 7 trip into "holy fuck I am in purgatory with people who have suicided and would give anything to go back" trip. Fucking DPT. I've gone through about a gram this past year. Exquisitely beautiful and terrifying. Better have your mind right with this one or it will take you on a ride you just might not like. Worth the risk though, I call DPT "mama", it feels like a straight connection to the female half of the divine, but YMMV.


I think the 2ct 7 I got was really impure. I have had 2c b/d/c/e/i and they all have the same basic appearance, this t-7 did not.
 
2C-T-7 Is one of the most unreliable psychedelics I have taken in terms of potency. The metabolism is supposed to be very complex and important in its action and it is hard to say what factors contribute. I would do no ROA but oral personally, it's way too sketchy otherwise.

Mine has had flakey appearance if not just powdery. As always, appearance says little.

I like it the best of all 2C's though, one of the best psychedelics for me: very rich and lush. I also never got much side-effects, but I did with 2C-T-2.

Indeed. Lush, deluxe, luxurious and sexy as all hell, the Rolls Royce of phenethylamines. Best (synthetic) psychedelic out there in my book.

It is still the psychedelic that turned my atheist best friend into a man kissing the ground thanking God for existence. Oh what a night that was! Lots of tears all around.
 
It really is *that* good but actually not for everyone. I've shared it with at least two or three people that found it lacking compared to say 2c-E. It is not just the dosage that is inconstant about 2C-T-7...the drug itself is inconsistent depending upon who eats it.
 
I didn't find it to be too special personally, despite the rosy adjectives I use to describe it. It felt a bit hedonistic and pointless, and then it seems to have a bit of a hangover, nothing major, but I felt just a tiny bit dirty after.

However, I never found a good strong dose for myself before I ran out of material. Maybe my opinion would change if I had a full-on experience with it. I do kind of think I need to give more of a chance. I'm also not so thrilled by 2C-B, which a lot of people love, so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

edit: funny you wrote that MGS ^ while I was still typing. "lacking compared to 2C-E" is exactly one of the things I thought about it, and I almost wrote something along those lines.

Yeah, I'd definitely say oral has always been the best roa for psychedelics for me, in terms of effect profile. Plugging certainly can mitigate body load but didn't help with vomiting for me. 2C-P plugged was just awful.
I'll probably try adjusting dosage and taking ondansetron. Do we know whether t-7 is very active at 5-ht3?
 
Perhaps it is a personal thing or a setting thing, but for me T-7 was very therapeutic both major times I used it when I got a full trip. (So not counting the 3-4 times I slowly titrated my dosage range) Definitely one of the deepest and most intimate conversations I have ever had in my life. With one of those times my best friend and I ran out so added a little 2C-B to top off for a +++ which worked well. There was also nitrous and perhaps GHB or weed used in one of those sittings but I would not combine it with other things than those. We surely enjoyed it, so was recreational on the side but not just that which can feel pointless like 2C-I for me.

Also with 2C-T-2 I felt the therapeutic potential the only time I tried it, but it was not fully developed and there was no one that I shared it with, also was overshadowed with nausea and GI issues that I did not get with 2C-T-7. Hard to say what contributes, 5-HT3 may explain at least part of it, or metabolites may act on 5HT3, but your exact enzyme activity and bowel contents may all play a role in how bad those compounds may cause side-effects. No idea if eating well no more or less than ~2 hours before dosing may help somewhat reliably, someone would need to test that. :)

I can echo the last couple posts that have been made here about T-7.

It's unpredictable as to dose and effect. But it's one of my all time favorites. 30 mgs has been tame, and paradoxically, one time me and a friend did 15 mgs each and spent 4-5 hours writhing in ecstasy like we were candy flipping on 300 mgs of mdma and 3 hits of excellent acid, without a hint or paranoia or body load.

One time, I took 25 mgs and was chilling with my sober room mate. I felt more or less 100% clear headed, except I had alternating bouts of nausea and orgasmic body load. He was watching TV and I recall seeing football players on the TV that were so utterly mixed up and melting and morphing out of the TV screen that I was sitting in the chair next to him completely calm and put together but also totally floored by the intensity of the visuals.

I've mixed ketamine into the tail end of t-7 trips twice to great success.

However, I know my body well, I know t-7 well, and I know keytamine well. This is a drug I never share with naive individuals, and certainly don't recommend mixing with anything.

If you're going to be reckless like me, my advice would be this: if you do mix t-7 with anything, stick to low doses and substances you are intimately familiar with. And don't mix peaks. 2c-t-7 is so rich and complex all by itself.

Wait til the tail end of the trip. Then a few beers, or a joint, or a couple little bumps of k, or a tiny bit of ghb is absolutely heavenly.

But really, from all the experience reports, deep down I always feel like drug combos with 2c-t-7 is kinda playing with fire. TREAD CAREFULLY
 
I read prolly more negative trip reports over on erowid on this compound than most any of them

And people die and have seizures from it

But here everyone talks like it's the bees knees
 
There is a big difference between titrating oral dosage and insufflating or eyeballing this compound. It is just not forgiving. And it affects serotonergic function in ways that are poorly understood leading to unusual interactions and reactions - sometimes compared to MAOI but unfortunately it really may not be that simple. But the nausea and body temperature differences can be explained by relations to serotonergic function.

It's the bees knees if you 1) understand what is safer vs. unsafer use 2) have e.g. a scale to do this, or the discipline to avoid say monoamine releasers or reuptake inhibitors, and 3) have a bit of luck with your reaction.

It's terrible if you both have a strong reaction AND are careless.

But I don't know of fatal or dangerous reactions from back when it was sold legally in smartshops here in the Netherlands, as pills with a lot of breaking scores.
 
Yeah 2C-T-7 was extremely popular for a while pre 2001 web-tryp (and was one of the reasons RCs got a lot of negative attention). The compound itself has the potential to be far more dangerous than most, and of course loads of people were snorting it and mixing it with MDMA, both of which hugely exacerbate the dangers/ hence the number of negative trip reports. That, and it can cause a lot of nausea.
