It was...neutral...for me...

Almost emotionally confusing...

There were moments of MDMA-like euphoria coupled with crippling synesthesia though...maybe given a better setting and or mind-set...Iv just been nervous to try it again haha

Ya, MDMA times 4, 5 or 6 is right!!!

Ive never had anything close to the rushes i got off this...AHHH just thinking back makes me wanna take a 25 mg voyage...

But they weren't...euphoric, for me...I couldn't get into the blatant chemical flood...(I also don't find MDMA euphoric)

I think thats just me though...still enjoyable and an absurd experience, but not much tied to euphoria
 
Honestly it really just depends on the day... Rolling almost always causes that exact same euphoria that the 2C-E did but on a MUCH larger scale... like we're talking 4 or 5 hours of me moaning at the top of my lungs every time a "roll" of euphoria would come over me...

I haven't taken 2C-E since that last time though.

I agree, I find it very euphoric, I always assume someone dosed too low if they found it neutral.

One thing I will say though is the euphoria doesn't feel forced as such, say with Mephedrone (and I assume MDMA, though I've never tried it) I just feel happy and amazing whatever happens, with 2C-E it really depends on what I'm doing, if I'm listening to nice music, enjoying myself, talking to friends etc then it's really euphoric, but if I just sit there idle and do nothing I can sometimes even feel dysphoric.

Though pretty much all my experiences that felt "neutral" with no euphoria were around the ~15mg oral mark, seems a bit low for my liking.
 
^ I have always though that too (about people dosing too low if they don't find it euphoric) - I found it to be the most euphoric chemical I've ever done besides MDMA.

Tactile senses went through the roof. Need to get some more and fuck on this one. FORSRS.
 
Hey,

This past weekend I decided to use some 2ce. I had been feeling the urge to trip so when I awoke on Sunday I decided it was time to go for it. I had weighed out a couple of doses a few weeks ago. I had given one to a friend I hadn't seen in a while earlier in the week... that was the stronger one at 18mg (hope she has fun with that), and the other one was around 12 or 13... I can't quite remember.

I took the dose... and my roommate and friend were also interested... but my friend had to run some errands that day... there would be a lot of driving... and visits to family members and such. I was excited about going on the journey and I convinced my roommate to come... as well as eat 2ce. I didn't have my scale at the time... I used some eyeballing as well as a .01g scale.... There was about 80mg in the bag... so I weighed out substance with bag... took a small amount out... and the bag weight didn't seem to change. The amount looked to be about 15mg or so... My friend took probably about 4-6 since she was driving... and my roommate probably took 8-10.... They looked pretty good and close to said amount... I've eyeballed similar amounts and have had mellow experiences.

All in all the trips were fun... driving around was good... we were very safe about it and made sure to be careful. friend who was on 5 or so was the driver. She was at a very comfortable level... but still mentioned seeing a special glow to the world... everything looked a little bit pretty, and she seemed more intrigued by things. My roommate got pretty high into his trip. I also got very tripped out on my dose... and was having some pretty wild visual effects. I would not shut up when we were talking with my friends grandma... I'm pretty sure I may have seemed a bit foolish... too many topics that shouldn't be talked about.... societal and cultural issues... ah!

So on and so forth.....

The reason I am really posting though is... about 6 hours after dosing my friends had mentioned a head ache forming... The friend who took 5 or so milligrams... it was her first time with the substance... and she said the next day she had a headache that was far different from any headache she had previously had. My roommate also mentioned having a strong headache the next day... I seemed fine... I've always experienced headaches quite frequently since I was a child.... so I think I have a tendency to ignore them most days.... I'm not so sure... I felt fine the next day... 2 days later I was a bit depressed... I'm not sure if it was chemical related or stress related.

I talked to another friend who has eaten it a couple times now in dosages between 5 and 10 mg... and he also has reported a headache.... He tends to trip hard on small amounts of any substance though... I tend to be a hardhead.... but still mostly use moderate doses... I save the big trips for the right moments, but continually trip monthly or biweekly in moderate doses.

Does anyone else experience headaches while on this material or after having used this material? How do you think this compares with the toxicity of other 2c chemicals?

This one feels more toxic, to me, than 2cb.... and based on what others have said I am questionable... When snorting the burn is worse than other 2cs in my opinion... and it generally gives me a strange feeling in my stomach for a few hours... I find 2cb to be more gentle throughout.

Any thoughts?

Has been mentioned before, but bears repeating: if icky body load, pervasive aches and pains and hard to identify discomfort afflict you on 2C-E, take 25mg Benedryl (diphenhydramine) 20-30 mins beforehand [no-script in the US med for allergies as well as gently inducing sleep]. It seems for some reason 2C-E, unique among the 2Cs, induces extra large release of Serotonin all over the body (and I presume in the brain as well), which irritates the hell out of, well, just about everything, hence the "strange aches," also sometimes called "pyramidal side effects" for reasons that seem mysterious to me.

But Benedryl (actually a rather complex drug with a fascinating history and probably numerous undiscovered uses) seems to somehow either block the release of the serotonin, or it blocks the irritation that it causes, or both.

For me it turned what had been a really "flu-like" trip, as MK777 calls it, into a smooth, flowing really easy to handle glide ride. It also kinda seemed to slightly intensify the already rather substantial and at times interestingly complex visuals.

Sorry to be a nattering nabob of negativism (http://www.answers.com/topic/nattering-nabobs-of-negativism) (haha, actually as I'm sure you all know by now, I rather enjoy it :X ) but someone's gotta say it: man that was really really idiotic to go out and drive with 15mg 2C-E swirling around inside your head. Irresponsible toward your fellow humans, no matter how careful you felt you were.

Please no one ever do that.

And now back to your regular programming...
 
I have driven on 15mg of 2ce. It really didn't seem idiotic at all. I think people make too big a deal out of these things..... It can be dangerous in some situations... but in others it can be rather safe. I was very comfortable in the car. I have driven before on psyches.... during some crazy shroom trips and acid trips. I've driven home after dosing hard at raves. It is only as reckless as you make it.... sometimes, for me, it was a bit reckless.... but I think now that there is a certain level where I know I can... and a certain level where I can't.... just to note I am very conscious of how much a particular drug effects me... I have a decent amount of psychedelic experience. I don't try to trip balls everytime.. lots of times I just enjoy the buzz... I've had scarier experiences driving on weed than I have had driving on psyches... just the same I have had awesome driving experiences while smoking weed. Cars can be dangerous any time you use them... you don't need to be on drugs to be in a dangerious car situation... I know of many people who have gotten into accidents because they were stressed or not paying attention to the road.... they were on no drugs..... So cars are dangerous... basically its silly to say a particular situation will end the same way every time.... sometimes driving on psyches can be stupid.... and sometimes it doesn't really matter.... it is awesome and gets you to a new place which can be fun and exciting.

... in the scenario I mentioned... the driver was on 5mg or so... enough to make her day a little brighter with a gentle push of stimulation.


Probably shouldn't post about driving on psyches I guess... I may give people some bad ideas or influence.... eh. But honestly I think I have been in more dangerous situations with sober people driving than with tripping people.... Anytime I have been in a car with tripping people we all tap into an ultra awareness... and pay close attention and help one another.... it can be very exciting... cause you can realize how very important driving is.... and sometimes when I trip and I realize the importance of things it becomes my goal to do those things the best I can and to find the best methods while I'm doing them.


Blah blah blah... I'm ranting because I'm stoned.... Sorry if I am in the wrong with the whole driving thing.... I'm not trying to encourage people to get "fucked up" and drive..... I just think getting "fucked up" and using drugs are 2 different things even though they can involve one another.



But yeah 2ce.... headaches?

DH you've convinced me... I'll pick up some generic DPH at Walgreens when I fill my valium script (I can't take the name brand due to a red 40 allergy) and I'll dose a single 25mg pill then take my 2C-E about 20-30 minutes later.

And yes, driving on 2C-E is wreckless as hell. I've had trips on the stuff where I'm just seeing some nice magenta patterns and then suddenly everything around me is morphing and melting. Had I been driving I certainly would have crashed.
 
25mg orally in 6oz of soda taken today. It was amazing. The visuals were pretty incomparable, and I've done some decent cid in my day. I in no way could drive while peaking fyi, but was able to do so no problem about 6:30 in.

Very happy to know I've got a bunch of doses left :)

that's a pretty funny typo/misspelling in this situation ;) sorry to point it out!

but yeah, i feel that when one is on psychedelics, it is typically possible to tell if you are okay to drive or not. there have been situations where i've driven whilst tripping, knew i would be okay, and i ended up being okay. there have also been situations where i knew there was no way i could drive. there are mannnny factors involved here. but i do not believe that there should be a hard rule about not driving while tripping. you just gotta know your capabilities!
 
I could drive on 5-MeO-AMT - but that was because once I hit the plateau, I knew I wasn't going any higher - 2C-E comes in waves with me and many I know where one minute you're feeling totally fine and next minute you are borderline ego death... Very dangerous.

Please people. Don't drive when you're fucked up.
 
well of course you shouldn't drive on something until you know how it effects you. if 2C-E effects you in a way that you don't feel you can drive, then don't. it does different things to different people though. but yeah, if you're on a manageable dose of a substance that you're pretty familiar with, i think that driving can be in the cards. we're adults here. of course, no one WANTS to drive when they're intoxicated... but sometimes it needs to happen. just make damn sure you'll be fine.... and i do believe that it is possible to make damn sure that you will be fine if you take the proper precautions.

don't be fool hardy though. if you have any reasonable doubts, don't do it...
 
From a harm reduction standpoint, you should NEVER drive under the influence of anything. I suppose if you literally have no other choice (which has happened to me before) then you do it but 2C-E is not the chemical to do it on.

Do report back on what, if anything, you felt the difference was. I sear, it really did help me.

Perhaps we ought to start a special thread just on this topic "2C-E + Benedryl help with side effects", as advice/info/discussion on it is really scattered about in all sorts of various 2C and 2C-E threads.
 
I've mentioned this before, but bears repeating: Don't dose the benedryl too high. When I had tried this with 2c-e, I foolishly took 2 benedryl (50mg) instead of 1 (25mg) and it totally knocked me out - I actually fell asleep for a bit at the beginning of the trip! I was really surprised about this because 2c-e feels so stimulatory by itself that I thought it would overpower the benedryl. D'oh. :)
 
This batch of 2c-e i got looks real flaky and shiny compared to the previous pure white powder, anyone else notice diffrences in their batches?
