I've seen dozens of people get very addicted to K. The thing about ketamine addiction is it has to be very available for a really long time and generally accepted by people. It's a sort of creeping kind of addiction. Not being high won't affect your ability to function, but it doesn't make the drug any less reinforcing. After a point of doing it for several years in a row in large amounts every day, though, people have a hard time entertaining themselves without it, and when the quality drops, people will still waste money on stuff they wouldn't even have sniffed before. It's a wierd sort of addiction that only happens to people whose friends all do the stuff, and who have a steady flow of good ketamine coming constantly, which doesn't seem to happen anywhere too often.

i've been supporting a k habit for 7 months now and the only withdrawal i feel is a certain irritability. it's cute. i hate it.

i puked once from it but i also swallowed a multivitamin and probably didn't eat quite enough cheese... it was all neon yellow. it looked sweet.
 
It's hard to understand how someone could get addicted to this drug. I have it by prescription in a spray bottle. I decided to find it how tolerance works & soon took 70mg to even feel anything, when before 40mg was just as strong.

So knowing this, Ill take a week or two off and return to using it every 2-3 days. It still only lasts about 90 minutes though so not a big deal of med.
 
One can get a prescription from a doctor in the US as they can prescribe anything not in Schedule 1. Those are off limits, having "no medicinal value." So yea, if I remember right, it was prescribed to Saku for extrememly treatment-resistant depression, an off-label use.

Worse than death! That's pretty amusing, I recently saw a trashy daytime talk show in Britain by the name of "Jeremy Kyle" where they were discussing said substance and he kept saying, exasperated, over and over again "A horse tranquilizer!" ... although the women on the show was a sad sight, up to 10 gram a day habit, couldn't stand for long, couldn't control her bladder, messed a few of me mates up two. The thing worse than death could be the soul leaving the body, when ever I look into the eyes of someone who is on K there never seems to be much past that glazing. Why does it have to be so yummy :(
 
10g's a day. Now that is a real habbit. Lol. And what is up with people coming up on k and puking. I have seen this happen before but i guess my stomach is strong. Anyone else that does not get affected with eating/timing/dosing?
 
Every K trip I've ever had has started with this effect I can only describe as the world folding diagonally, or going slantwise. I then proceed to lay down into this slantedness (mentally, not physically, though the distinction is moot at that point!), before completely slipping through the cracks of reality. Does anyone know exactly what I'm talking about, or use the same sort of terminology for it?
 
My big experience with ketamine was reckless. My first time I did a few bumps here and there, and had the great idea "I'll try and K-Hole tomorrow morning."
The Next morning I lined up four huge lines and completely overshot the dose. I was frozen (like rigor mortis) and unresponsive to other people for about an hour and don't remember anything during that time. Soon after I snapped out of it, it was as if I was severely mentally challenged and the recurring thought / phrase was "This is the most confusing morning of my life."
The world was pure insanity and very much like looking at a severely distorted painting or cartoon of reality. That portion lasted six hours give or take, but subjectively it was years. I wasn't completely functional until the evening.

Probably among the most reckless / stupid things I've ever done.

6 hours? What the fuck? Ket doesn't last that long, but maybe you took a ridiculously huge dose. Always know your dosage.

When I did 250mg i came down after an hour and a half or so, and felt completely normal in another hour.
 
This crazy girl I know once actually dipped a straw into a 14g bag of ketamine and took a giant sniff, when it was weighed after, it weighed roughly 12g... so this girl snorted 2g in a single line, she was probably tolerant, but I know she hadn't had any K in at least a month.

The point is, this happened as soon as the girl got to toronto, she took a 2 hour drive back to our home town, and she still had to be carried inside.

I have been told she was high for around 5-6 hours.

I think my dose was in the .7 to .8 range.
And only the crazy portion was 6 hours, it was a good 10 - 12 before I was at baseline.
Definitely was not expecting something so long, missed work :\
